Cut and reshape tall Leylandii hedge
Tall (12 - 15ft) boundary hedge had gown too high and got out of shape.Stephen made a good impression when he came to give an estimate - he clearly knew his stuff and was able to give us good advice on how far the hedge could be cut back without damaging it. On the day his team did a very professional job - an excellent end result and they were very careful about collecting and removing all the trimmings.

Cutting a large lime tree and many other trees that needed coming down.
Extremely happy with job we have had Stephen three times attending our trees we find them, Dan this time very polite and left garden very tidy and worked very hard the three days. I would recommend this company.

Tree and three stumps removed
Another great job done by Stephen and this time, Dan. All work was completed professionally and the area left neat and tidy. We've had Stephen complete three jobs for us now and we've always found him polite, professional, reliable and honest. This company is highly recommended without any hesitation.

Felling of three alder trees and one poplar; pollarding of two poplars
The work was completed in less than the estimated time, but done to standards that were above expectations. The large trunks were cut into neat rings; the smaller branches were logged for us, and the brushwood was piled extremely neatly ready for us to burn. Stephen and his assistant were at all times hardworking and courteous, and we cannot recommend them too highly.

First-class, top quality work - I can highly recommend Stephen Bacon to anyone looking for a tree surgeon. He has a good eye for the shape of the trees and works very hard for a fair price. Very happy indeed.
