The work was completed efficiently and exactly to our requirements which we did change during the process. Andrew kept to timings and was helpful in giving advice regarding a few issues that arose in our design. Throughout the process my routine was not disrupted in any way and the team were sensitive and appropriate in their manner and use of the house when necessary. We are very pleased with the finished result and will consider further work being completed in the future.

Quite apart from the excellent price I received I thought Stepping Stones Landscapes provided the best design for my garden. It became quite clear from the outset that Andrew Gordon had lots of experience building decks and putting up trellises and as result provided the best design solution out of the three companies I sourced through Checkatrade. A really time-consuming, mucky and boring job for Andrew who was excellent all-round. Prompt, good-natured and accommodating; excellent job which looks very good now. There was a lot of dust from the old cement grouting and Andrew did well to contain it and clean up. The bricks look very smart now. Thanks Andrew. Highly recommended.

We chose Stepping Stone Landscapes over others due to them being very helpful and informative when deciding on the design and materials for our deck, as well as being competitively priced. Deciding on the final design was greatly helped by leaving us with samples of decking, sleepers and several landscaping brochures for ideas and also provided us with an understanding of maintenance and longevity when comparing different materials. Scale drawings were left with us to further appreciate how the deck would look in the garden. The quality of work, craftsmanship, promptness, communication and tidiness has all been exceptional – our garden is now totally transformed. Stepping Stone Landscapes have been fantastic and come highly recommended.

Andrew arrived when he said he would. He got straight on with the work. Materials were delivered prior to start date. He worked steadily and made very little mess, clearing up as he went. The preparation was very thorough , he had all the correct equipment. There was very little waste and he washed everything down before he left. He took my wished into account and gave his advice which improved part of my garden totally, in just two days.

Andrew delivered on time, to specification at an agreed price and I would definitely recommend him. Our requirements were a bit different, and we were not sure whether they could be achieved with traditional decking. Andrew listened carefully to our requirements, worked with us to ensure he understood our needs, contributed to our design, provided a quote that met our expectations and was available within a reasonable time frame to do the work. As a result we are exceptionally pleased with the finished decking, and would strongly recommend Andrew and we will use him again without hesitation when we wish to do further works.

Andrew and Ahmed first came in 2010 when they designed and built a pergola adjoining the back of our house in the garden. We were so impressed with the quality of work and the guys themselves we asked them to come back and quote to help us re-design our back garden - summer of 2011. Although we had ideas in mind, they helped us understand why certain ideas wouldn't work and the advised on alternatives (which worked out much better than we expected). Our garden is now our pride and joy, worth every penny and everyone comments on how wonderful it looks. They worked very hard and the guys are always on hand if I have any queries or need some advice on planting or design of other areas of the garden. More recently, they came to build sleeper flower beds and I am sure they'll be back to do more work in the not too distant future - I have some other ideas and work needed! They are conscious, polite and tidy and their attention to detail is second to none. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Andrew did a great job! The old hedge was a lot tougher then imagined but Andrew removed it and the new patio and fence (with trellis work) looks fantastic. We have reclaimed 3 meters of garden as a result Andrews work was clean and left and us no mess to clear. A very tidy worker and great communication before during and after.

The existing garden had been used as a building dump whilst we renovated our house over a year, and was not child friendly. Andy transferred my paper sketch onto the landscape with skill and flagged up all problems / alterations / budget changes ahead of time. He re-leveled the back garden, built a child play area, created a "nature reserve" and also crafted a formal brick parterre in the front garden. Andy and Garry worked extremely hard through dreadful weather. They were very patient with my 3 year old son who was desperate to help. We are extremely pleased with the results (as are the neighbors ...)!

Our garden was like a bomb site after we had building work done on our house it also had suffered years of neglect. Andrew and his team cleared and levelled it, in preparation for laying turf.
