Build a brick dwarf wall to take an oak porch

Stephen at STL was very knowledgeable and sourced bricks to match other brickwork on the property. The job was done promptly and to a very high standard. I will certainly be keeping his number for all future work.

Remodelling the interior of the house - phase 4 of a 4 phase project

This included opening up the downstairs environment, the kitchen area and refurbishing 2 bathrooms. The entrance lobby was part of phase 1. The result is excellent. Windows and doors are first class and were a competitive price. The tiling of the bathrooms and kitchen and dining areas was conducted to an excellent standard. Plumbing and electrical work were conducted well. As a result the house is well modernised. Overall across the 4 phases, very few glitches. STL has very good quality management and takes care of managing quality to high standards.

Garden wall and paving - third phase of a 4 phase project

This phase involved building a retaining wall around three sides of the property and laying limestone slabs. The result 'frames' the house perfectly. The quality of workmanship is excellent. Really good attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship and a real sense of good design.

New build project for Landmark Country Homes LTD

I have used Stephen for all my new build projects, Stephen and his team are very reliable all brick work is to a very high standard and nothing is to much trouble, I highly recommend Stephen and his team.

First floor extension - 2nd phase of a 4 phase project

This involved building a new bedroom on top of a first floor extension, creating a balcony and remodelling aspects of the top floor. The result is truly impressive and brilliantly crafted. Brickwork, rough rendering and tiling are a perfect match to the original property. The plasterwork is excellent. Being an old building, some problems were encountered which required additional work e.G. To the gable on the main roof. This extra worthwhile work was undertaken efficiently and was good value for money. Very well managed with excellent attention to detail.

Ground floor extension - phase 1 of a 4 stage project

A ground floor extension with a new entrance area to the main house, a large bedroom and en-suite. Excellent standard of work from high quality trades. Materials matched perfectly to the original character of the house. Very good ability to undertake variations (decided by us) to the architect design at competitive costs e.G. An additional Velux. Standard of finish top class. Very well managed and exceeded expectations.

Re-pointing brickwork

Stephen has always been very professional and helpful in our dealings with him. His quote was competitive with others received. His team always arrived on time, and gave us regular updates regarding the work. They even repaired a weather affected piece of pointing, with no questions asked. We are pleased with the end result, and would recommend STL to others and we hope to be using Stephen and his team again in the future.

Part demolish garage, rear single storey extension, first floor extension to side

This was a ten week build and I was very impressed by Stephen (Tim) and his workers from beginning to end - everyone was very professional and friendly, and the whole process was stress free. We were kept informed of progress/what works would be happening each week and given plenty of advance notice when we needed to choose finishes/fittings etc. We made some changes as the build progressed (some requested by us and some suggested by Tim to improve the end result) and in each case were given an indication of costs so that we could decide whether to go ahead. Tim is meticulous about attention to detail and doing the best job that he can and we are delighted with the end result. He even pointed out a manufacturing flaw in a new sink (which I hadn't noticed) and made sure that it was replaced. We now have 2 fantastic new rooms in our house. I plan to use Tim and his team again in the future, and have already recommended him to friends.
