Sussex Building services is a professional building company that operates in the Brighton and Hove area. We provide a friendly and reliable service with excellent customer service and attention to detail with all our work being completed to the highest standard.
We have been established 15 years and have a dedicated well trained work force who are able to complete all aspects of domestic and commercial works. We also have regular maintenance contracts with local letting agents and housing associations.
We have an extensive list of references available or alternatively we are more than happy to take potential customers around to previous projects to show them first hand the quality of our workmanship.

Complete strip out and refurbishment of a 3 bedroom maisonette including insulation, new floors, built fitted storage units, built custom-made kitchen, fitted new doors, repaired windows etc and oversaw all other trades (plumbing, electricians, tiler, decorators).
I would be happy to recommend them.

Kitchen extension and refit new kitchen
Stuart and team did an excellent job and dealt brilliantly with the unexpected problems that occurred (eg. When a soil pipe was found running through the newly dug foundations). Everyone was a pleasure to have around the house and the whole job came in on budget. Finishing touches also very well done when fitting the new kitchen (worktops, door fronts etc)

Removal of large chimney between kitchen and morning room, insert 3 steel beams, complete renovation / modernization of two rooms, general external repairs and pointing.
We were very pleased with Sussex Building Services.Stewart and all his staff were very professional, they helped us from the very start to plan the work with a view to the end product and what it would look like. Stewart was always on top of things quickly responding to any questions we had as they went along. They were all very friendly and courteous not only to us but to the neighbours as well which was very important to us. I would recommend Sussex Building Services to anyone knowing that they would carry out an excellent job at a competitive price.

Renovation and conversion of two flats into one large unit
After many years of disappointment in builders, at last we have found a company that we can truly say are brilliant. Stuart and his team are professional, courteous and very knowledge. We felt confident to leave them to get on with the job and they always informed us of their progress. The site was left clean and tidy and the final finish was excellent. We look forward to using them again.

Loft extension, Complete renovation of bungalow
Stuart and the team ( led by site foreman Ollie ) , changed our small 2 bed bungalow into a contemporary 3 bed house by providing a loft extension and knocking down all interior walls so that we could create an open plan living / kitchen space. This included moving the kitchen, installing a great deal of steel frame and bi-fold doors. I would not hesitate to recommend SBS to anyone as the quality and finish is near perfect, the guys put in long hours and nothing was too much trouble. We were kept informed of progress the entire way through the project and had multiple visits after work is complete to ensure we are happy with the finish and to catch any snagging items. We are planning on additional work already and shall be using SBS. The only downside if any is that these guys are booked up well in advance which speaks volumes for the standard of work, however we are more than happy to wait.
