The company has been trading under this name for four years and is progressively going from strength to strength.
The majority of the work is carried out by myself - Martin Bridle, and i have been in the construction industry since leaving school 24 years ago, we have a very skilled and reliable team of tradesmen that work along side us, and attention to detail has always been at the forefront of our working ethics.
Sussex County Builders can plan, manage and undertake all kinds of projects from basic repairing a kitchen tap, to patios, to extensions, loft conversions, and complete new-build home projects. We can also provide kitchen and bathroom planning consultation and installation.
Sussex County Builders have a large customer base of clients that are constantly using us again and again, and references can be provided on request. we are also an accredited NHBC registered company, providing extensive 10 year warranty's for larger building projects

Roof tiles removed. Liner put on roof and battens and retiled with original tiles

Bathroom refurbishment, inc new walls and installation of elec shower
Martin is competent and works to a very good standard. He is adaptable in that he was not only happy to fit the bathroom fixtures we’d bought, but extra items that we’d forgotten to mention. He also was able to order and obtain a shower screen for us which was a higher quality than in the usual stores. He and his team are pleasant, polite and tidy. We are pleased and relieved that at last we have found a firm of Builders who we would be happy to use again.

Refurbishment of office building
Martin and his team undertook the refurbishment of our new office building in Horsham, which included roof repairs, plastering, redecoration and minor building repairs. All work was carried out to a high standard and we are all delighted with the end result, all completed in time for our scheduled office relocation. Martin has proved to be very adaptable, carrying out extra works swiftly and with ease. I would highly recommend Martin and his team, and would not hesitate to choose Sussex County Builders in the future.

Loft conversion
Martin initially quoted for the work in March 2011 and it started in July. The costs were maintained, other than additional work that was agreed. Martin suggested some improvements to the original design in terms of layout of the staircase landing and bathroom units, which made better use of the available space. During the works Martin was receptive to feedback and made some small changes and listened to what I had to say. He explained what was happening so I understood how the work was progressing. Any specialist trades that came to site were very skilled in their area and did a quality job. Overall, the job went very well and what could have been a stressful time was made much easier by Martin's approach. I'd use Sussex County Builders again.

Martin proved to be a an extremely competent builder and project manager. As a family of four with two dogs he somehow managed to ensure the full running of all my kitchen appliances including my sink 10 weeks into the build through incredible disruption until the carpenter arrived to fit the new kitchen! We found him to be totally dependable and reliable, offering sound advice and well able to solve inevitable problems. Martin was always courteous and polite as were his team and other colleagues who came in throughout to support the build. The standard of his work has been extremely high and I would certainly recommend him to others.
