I had two other companies quote for this job, but what appealed to me about Sussex Stoves was that they were highly competitive in their price, AND were able to do the WHOLE job - that is they were able to take out the old brick fireplace, open up the hearth, lay the hearth limestone tiles, and make good at the end, in addition to the installtion of my Moros stove and flue liner, The stove installation was carried out quickly with efficiency and professionalism. There was a slight problem with my chimney in that it was too small at one place for the liner to come down. Tim was unpeteturbed and found the solution which involved breaking into the chimney flue further up the chimney breast. All was made good, the plastering was excellent, and the general standard of work exemplary. I found Tim and his team easy to communicate with, helpful and there were no extra or hidden costs to this job. I would highly recommend him.

A very honest and reliable service provided by Tim and team. There was a problem with our chimney that meant this wasn't an easy job but this didn't faze them at all. Tim is very knowledgeable and gave us advice about choosing wood burners. Friendly and helpful we would absolutely recommend them.

Tim visited me at home as I had been left in a mess. I had a stove supplied but no parts to install it, and I had to have my chimney rebuilt. This work was due to be started the following week. Tim advised me on ventilation areas surrounding the stove so the new builder could rebuild the chimney to the correct specification. Tim supplied me the items I needed to have my stove installed. Had it been that I had not committed myself to have the building work completed I would have no hesitation on using Tim and his company. Although he just supplied the instalation items he offered time and advice to my builder and was always polite and available. On the day he supplied the goods, he showed my builder what went where and was generally very helpful. I could not thank him enough for seeing I needed a break and giving me hope that I would be warm this winter.
