On previous occasions Mr Benson has fixed noisy water pipes, repaired a leak, installed a new stopcock and replaced a cold water tank ballcock. Very pleased with the quick friendly and efficient service I received. Replaced the element made from stainless steel, rather than a copper one that another company used 2 years previously, so I am rather hopeful that I won't be needing to have this replaced again for a while! I am very grateful for the detailed explanation of the use of my tank, as I've never really understood it before, and Mr. Benson explained it well without making me feel stupid. An elderly friend (94) had been worrying about a leak in her bathroom for some considerable time, after the Handyperson service couldn't help, I got Swifts details via Checkatrade. My friend is over the moon to get this dealt with so quickly after making contact....she checks everyday....and it's definitely mended!!! She was happy with the charge and the work done. Mr Benson was one of 3 tradesmen that I contacted for an estimate but the only one who arrived on time. He was very helpful and honest. I had been led to believe (by others) that the entire wall would have to be replaced (including all the tiling) as well as the removal and re-fit of the shower cubicle and base. Mr Benson was able to re-assure me that he could complete this job with minimal disturbance and less cost.
