I'm an NICEIC registered domestic installer, so I am fully insured and all my notifiable work comes with a Local Authority Building Control backed 6 year warranty. Obviously all of my work will be fully tested and certified, the originals of which are issued to you, and building control notified on your behalf, where necessary. I'll give you a free quote in writing and NOT just an estimate on any work agreed, so no nasty surprises and the quote will be broken down into labour and material costs (a copy of the invoices for materials can be provided if you wish). Over 12 years experience, 17th edition wiring regs (the latest including the 2011 amendments), part P building regs compliant, personable, flexible and I won't leave your house with anything less than I would be happy with in mine. I'm happy to work at weekends and during the evenings if it suits you better and I won't increase my quote as a result. Rewire kitchen

Fitted out side lights

Explained best positions for my outside lights to make sure I didn't have any dark spots, I wanted them positioned else where but after listening to Julian I'm gland I took his advise.

Fix downlights in bathroom

Julian was extremely helpful and replaced inoperative downlights in a bathroom. Julian also sourced some lights which were more appropriate than the ones I had chosen. Julian arranged the work with my tenant and I would definitely use Julian again. Thanks

Lots of socket, lighting, re-wiring and testing work in a newly purchased home

We had used Julian in our flat in Southampton for some small work items, but such was his work and personal standards, that he was a natural choice when we needed an electrician to help put right faults in a new home we moved to. Giving Julian a list of what we thought were major items, he quickly and confidently diagnosed the problems, fixed what he could immediately and returned promptly with parts for the rest. We also asked him to supply and fit new garage lights and sort out numerous "small" but annoying issues. He did this with good humour, cleaning up after each job and explaining all he was doing, asking if that was what we wanted. We can thoroughly recommend his services, the quality of his work and highly professional manner. His fees were very reasonable too. So if you want a safe electrician, especially if you are on your own or need to leave the house keys with someone, we cannot recomend higher.

New ceiling lights and dimmer switches fitted

All as we expected from a highly recommended Checkatrade member, and such a contrast with our previous experience, of an electrician who appeared to know little more than us. We are very satisfied with the work carried out, especially the attention to details that are unseen now the job is finished.

Full house re-wire

The best electrician ever had. Bearing in mind the size of the job, the house was left safe and tidy every day. Always keeping us informed of any extra work that we were creating. A house re-wire I've learnt never sticks to the original plan. Joe the apprentice was always keen to try out his new Christmas tools, even though they weighed him down. Really, really nice guys. We won't be using anyone else in the future.
