We had used Julian in our flat in Southampton for some small work items, but such was his work and personal standards, that he was a natural choice when we needed an electrician to help put right faults in a new home we moved to. Giving Julian a list of what we thought were major items, he quickly and confidently diagnosed the problems, fixed what he could immediately and returned promptly with parts for the rest. We also asked him to supply and fit new garage lights and sort out numerous "small" but annoying issues. He did this with good humour, cleaning up after each job and explaining all he was doing, asking if that was what we wanted. We can thoroughly recommend his services, the quality of his work and highly professional manner. His fees were very reasonable too. So if you want a safe electrician, especially if you are on your own or need to leave the house keys with someone, we cannot recomend higher.

The best electrician ever had. Bearing in mind the size of the job, the house was left safe and tidy every day. Always keeping us informed of any extra work that we were creating. A house re-wire I've learnt never sticks to the original plan. Joe the apprentice was always keen to try out his new Christmas tools, even though they weighed him down. Really, really nice guys. We won't be using anyone else in the future.

We had an 'electrician' in a few years ago, but he went out of business, leaving our consumer unit incorrectly wired, not earthed properly and cables all over the place. Julian came and sorted everything out for us with a minimum of fuss, cleaned up after himself and kept us fully informed of what he was doing, and why. A professional job done. Highly recommended.

The reply to my initial e-mail was fast and courteous and after coming and quoting the initial job I was told of a safety defect that would have to be rectified alongside the initial work. Julian gave a good estimate with choices. He was aware that I run a business from home with servers and due to this offered to install the consumer unit on bank holiday Monday with no extra charge. Julian turned up on time while making sure the day before we were still OK to do the work. Julian explained what he was going to do and just got on with the work with no fuss. Julian completed the work and cleaned up after himself. I would recommend Julian to everyone. Just a decent chap.
