This was the first time that we have had any work done on our house and we were so pleased that we used T and K Bourne and Sons Limited. The team were fantastic, a special thank you to the electrician Marc, the plumber John, Dave and Lee for their work during the build, Neil and Martin for all the carpentry work and of course Trevor Bourne that made the whole process so easy and would go out of his way to make sure that we were happy. The work was completed today, and I am very pleased with the finished result. Always good to have professionals, but also to be able to talk with them about what they are doing, and even why, and they were always happy to explain what was being done and why. They also were not afraid to ask me about any aspect they were unsure of. I have plans for more work in the future (the kitchen needs a lot of work) and I will certainly ask T and K Bourne if they can do the work. Very pleased.

Very pleased. The hall looks so much better now, and what I liked about them more than anything else was the attitude that the work will take as long as it takes, no hint of rushing to finish. Also they were happy to give me a few tips how to deal with those awkward little jobs that put so many of us off doing it ourselves. I will also add that the spare room that was sed for storage is cleaner and tidier now than it was before they started! I would recommend and ask them to come back if I ever need any more work done.

I have used T and K Bourne for smaller jobs on previous occasions and have always been pleased with their quality of work. So when we were in need of a new kitchen and fitted bedroom furniture I asked if they could provide a quotation. Had quite a big refurbishment job done, which included removing a couple of walls, moving electrics, hanging doors redecorating, swapping radiators and new carpet and flooring. Every step of the way the team were helpful and courteous. Trevor offered useful advice when he initially estimated the job. Jim and Reet were friendly and helpful once the job started, answering questions and clarifying requirements. Trevor also regularly checked in to make sure the job was going smoothly, and keep me posted while I was on holiday. One item of the job wasn't as I imagined (a new towel rail which was too big) because we didn't clarify the spec precisely enough up front. This was corrected no questions asked. Despite starting a little later than planned (due to circumstances beyond their control) the guys completed the job on schedule, even though I kept throwing extra bits and pieces at them as the job progressed. Marked down slightly on tidiness, as I did find furniture uncovered at one point during the (very dusty) job, but they guys did a good job of cleaning up at the end of the project, so it wasn't a big issue. In general the site was left neat and tidy at the end of each day, and all the rubbish was cleared early in the job. Overall I'm very pleased with the result, and I'll definitely be inviting the guys back as we've already thought of some more work we'd like done later in the year.

Trevor and his team recently renovated the entire upstairs of our house, plus downstairs hallway. This included new carpets, loft ladder, ceiling skimming, and making good and painting some heavily pitted walls before painting and/or wall papering in all rooms and staircase landing. The result has been a huge transformation of the house, and has greatly modernised it. Trevor and his team are always happy to offer advice with design elements and colour choices, and have the patience of saints when working with indecisive customers such as myself. Trevor is also very quick to act on any after sales niggles, which in my case have been extremely minor and pedantic on my part, and Trevor and his team genuinely do have the customer's best interests at heart. Would recommend to anyone.
