Installation of new windows for bedroom and bathroom
Spiers have the reputation of being the best in this area and they certainly live up to that. Top marks for all aspects of there work carried out for us.  We would definitely use them again. In fact, we wouldn't even contemplate using anyone else.  Therefore, it is a pleasure to recommend to others.

Re-concrete of driveway
Installing our concrete for the second time resulted in a much better finish. However we have not received an apology from the company concerning the first installation and the problems it caused.

Replacement conservatory and construction to porch.
A friendly, efficient firm.  Contact with employees was easily competent. The now manager was a worthy success to Roy Spiers.  I would recommend them.

French doors, back door and 3 windows
Arrived on time (7:45) and planned the work over the two days so that everything could be done properly.  Fitting team was friendly but focussed on the task in hand. Superb attention to detail - I had secondary glazing and tiling, both of which could have meant problems redecorating, but in fact so careful taking out old windows and making good gaps in plaster that all I needed to do was give walls a quick rub down and touch up paint work.  Left key for them to lock up with total confidence. I am a perfectionist and went round afterwards to spot faults and really struggled to find a single thing.  You can pay by credit card, and only pay when you are happy. I couldn't give them a higher recommendation - in fact I'm getting them in for a quote for more work.

Remove glass above doors, replace internal doors; plaster and paint bedrooms, hall, stairs, landing and living area and study; replace bannisters.
Carpentry excellent, plastering very poor and painting poor to average. Painting not done by professional decorators. TEHM offered to make amends but didn't want the mess, particularly as new carpet laid and work would not be done by decorators.

We do not accept payment until the customer is happy - TEHM was paid in full. Our offer to deal with queries was turned down. Our decorators are the same as the ones used on all other jobs (see monitoring card reports) and are professional at all times. Request to turn down heating from 30 degrees was denied making it difficult for us to do our work. Boxing in and door trimming were done for free although customer offered to pay. We were not informed of any issues until 2 weeks after completion although carpets went down the day before we were called regarding issues.

Removal of old patio and the laying of new.
I can thoroughly recommend TEHM. Their men are polite and they work hard (hardly taking tea breaks). Altogether they are easy to have around and their careful workmanship is first class. I am well pleased with the paving. I would recommend them.
