This job was quoted in writing approx., 2 weeks prior to the work date. The quote was accepted fairly soon afterwards and a date arranged for the work. About a week prior to the agreed start date I had a call from Mrs Beale to ask if I could do a small part of the job as soon as was possible to enable them to continue with the refurbishment, this was done the same day as requested with no charge just our efforts to keep the customer happy and provide a quality service. All went well and according to plan and the customer even commented shortly before the job finished how pleased they were with the bathroom and other work. The invoice was paid promptly with no queries. I was strangely surprised to see the comment of pricey when the customer had every opportunity to gather quotes and make their choice.
