After trying a few other Smeg engineers without any response, Tim came by on a Bank Holiday to fit a replacement thermostat, quickly identifying and replacing a second fault with the main oven element while he was there - without fuss or bother. Courteous, tidy and punctual; really delighted with his work.

I rang Tim on Thursday afternoon and he arrived Friday morning to fix the dishwasher. He was prompt, polite, friendly. Explained the steps he was going through to correct the problem which was very helpful and gave some good advice about the dishwasher. Being a part time housewife, and blonde(!), I am a little cautious of tradesmen generally! Tim promptly fitted an appointment in for me the day after calling, even though I could hear he was inundated with calls! He arrived in time of expected visit and was polite, efficient and cheerful! Was matter of fact about my drier and didn't simply carry out work because he could. He explained clearly what was wrong and what could be done and answered queries and advice on what to do! His price was reasonable and I was very happy with the experience. Upon advice of Tim, I have decided my drier is only fit for Ebay spares and I will be sad to see it go. I will purchase a brand recommended by Tim as I felt he was knowledgeable and trusting enough to do so. I will have no doubt in using TJ Domestic's services again when I need to in the future. Phoned Timothy on Monday afternoon - he arrived 9.20 on Tuesday morning (THIRD job of the day) Very polite, friendly and trustworthy. He found the problem within 10 minutes (hole in door seal hence the leak!) - although still checked all over to make completely sure no other problems. Fitted new seal and made sure working. Tim was great, extremely fair as spent considerable time trying to get our machine to point at which he could fix it and when it became obvious that repair was going to be problematic gave us frank advice on our options and the costs. At no cost left us with a valve to asset in us getting a new machine installed as our water inflow taps were jammed. Would not hesitate to use again and have already recommended to all our friends.
