INTRODUCING TAILOR MADE HOME IMPROVEMENTS

Tailor Made Home Improvements is a small family run business and has been in replacement uPVC installations since 1995.  As a result of our experience, high quality products and superior craftsmanship, we pride ourselves on the majority of our new custom being supplied on previous customers' recommendations and word of mouth.

Next to our quality products and craftsmanship, our most important asset is our staff.  We do not employ high pressure sales people, all our customers deal direct with the owner of the business who will be delighted to cater for all your requirements, our installation teams work for us and are not sub-contracted as many other companies are. 

Having completed level 2 in carpentry in 1993, Alan Hayter joined a small uPVC installation company installing fascias, soffit, guttering, windows, doors and conservatories as a labourer and quickly became one of the top fitters in the company and taking on the role of installations manager and training new staff.

Alan set up his own company, Tailor Made Home Improvements, in 1995, with the ambition of being recognised as a “no hassle sales” family business, employing second to none installation practices.

Now an established company, having built a reputation based on its top class craftsmanship, products, premium roof line and window installations, Tailor Made decided to expand its expertise as an approved installer of EPDM RubberBond flat roofing systems and GRP uPVC decking.

Controlled expansion has meant the company has stood the test of time and is now one of the longest established local home improvements companies in the Hampshire area, maintaining its reputation on quality, choice and value for money.

Composite front door and porch replacement

Overall very happy with the job! A number of technical hitches arose, such as new doors not being delivered on time and wrong glass sent, but Alan did do his best to sort this as soon as possible even though it did take a bit longer than anticipated. Not the easiest job for them to have to do, but they worked really hard to make sure that the house was left as secure as possible at each stage. Would definately recommend them and use again!

Replacement of Soffits, Fascias, Gutters and Bargeboards

Alan and his boys did a very good job with no issues and lots of good advice before and during the job. My other half was ill during the job and she didn't even notice they were working away so very unobtrusive on what is a very intrusive job shows how good they are. They even left the front and back of the house cleaner when they left than it was before they arrived!!  I would recommend this company to all and have already passed the details onto my parents.
