Handmade wardrobes made out of MDF
We were looking at getting a fitted wardrobe for our son's room and decided to get a quote from Tom after he was recommended to us. We were not looking at spending a lot of money, and Tom suggested making a wardrobe from MDF which at first we were not sure about. Tom measured up and asked what layout we were looking for and came back with a quote which was very competitive. We instructed Tom to do the work but was still apprehensive about what the end result was going to be due to having bad experiences with tradesman in the past. The wardrobe was exactly what we needed and we were very impressed at his attention to detail and the end result using MDF. He was also very very tidy, using dust sheets throughout and cleared up after he finished. We would highly recommend Tom and would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends with the confidence that they would be as happy as we are with his work.

Re-fit front door architrave after it was pulled off by accident
Tom re-fitted part of our front door architrave after the security chain was left on and the door opened - which ripped it away from the frame. I didn't fancy screwing this back myself, and so contacted Tom (after finding him here). He didn't mind calling for such a small job, which I was pleased about. He showed up when he said he would, did a quality job and insisted on cleaning up after himself. He was very efficient and left me to get on with my day promptly - important when time is a premium and you need a good job done fast. Will recommend him to friends and family.

We found Tom White on the Check a Trade website, he visited us, gave us some really good design suggestions and the price he quoted was reasonable compared to other quotes we had been given from others - Tom started the work on the day he said he would, his work was very professional and he worked hard, completing the job on time - we are very happy with the end result and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others
