This is the third time Tom has done work for us. The patio was completed to his usual high standard and we were very pleased with the result, and also with the other work they did for us. Tom and Jamie worked very hard to complete the job quickly. They were polite and courteous and kept us informed of progress at all times. We would definitely reccomend them.

Tom spent four days working hard to complete a range of tasks in very unpleasant weather conditions. He still managed to do a tremendous job to a very high standard, taking careful account of the weather to ensure it did not adversely affect the results. He made a good job of repairing the results of poor work on block paving the drive by a previous contractor. We were delighted with the final product, for which he charged a very reasonable rate that was slightly better than estimated. We have now employed Tom several times for hard landscaping work and he has never disappointed us. A really nice professional tradesman who has a polite and friendly manner and who is willing to offer sound knowledgeable advice that has actually improved the intended outcome but cost us less! In our experience he can be trusted to do a very competent job for a fair price without compromising standards.

Tom did another great job today. Relocating a large conifer across the garden aswell as some large shrubs. A raised bed which was full of old tree roots was turned over and new plants planted. Old tree roots removed from under a patio and then slabs relaid. Tom was, as always, very polite and hard working and Phoebe was impeccable behaved as usual too! Thanks for another great job completed.

Tom and Jamie worked really hard over the 4 days they were here. The job was very awkward as it involved removing alot of built up waste/soil behind the old panels and then retaining that back. There were also trees crossing the boundary line which caused some issues too. Tom explained very clearly all the available options in order to come to the best solution. Tom and Jamie completed the works within the time frame and also ended up doing extra jobs too. They were very polite and Phoebe also was a delight to have around. This is the second time I have used TAW Landscapes and would highly recommend them. I have booked in another days work and will I'm sure have more in the future for Tom and his team.

We are absolutely delighted with the work that Tom and Jamie have done. It was a very difficult job because of existing tree roots and old bits of stonework but because of their expertise and determination we now have a beautiful straight fence for the first time in 20 years. Everything was left really tidy and clean and I would recommend them unreservedly.

Tom and his colleague did an excellent job. They started when they said they would, worked very hard to complete the job within a week or so and the quality of the finish is excellent. They were polite and friendly and worked in a tidy manner and we ended up paying the original quote, plus a little for some extras we requested. Reasonably priced and much friendlier than a few of the other companies that quoted. We are really pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend them to others.

Tom and his colleagues including Pheobe were very polite at all times and completed the work to the agreed timescales. The fencing was located in an awkward location and Tom was very accommodating when I asked him to install the panels the wrong way around which made the job alot harder. I would definitely use Tom again and would happily recommend.

This work comprised new patio areas - this included steps, some very tricky cutting of sandstone and tying in with both old and newer existing buildings; also a pergola/trellis. Timetable slipped due to factors outside control (weather and illness), but Tom kept us informed and completed our work before moving on to anything else. He also consulted us and offered us his views on choices. Extremely good job - we are very pleased with the result. We were also happy for him to be there whilst we were away. We have used Tom before and would use again.

Tom used a laser level to check the fall and he discussed the work with us before starting. He overcame some difficulties and we are optimistic that this will drain our lawn. The work was completed in 5 days. The lawn looks great. The concrete path and crazy paving on the patio had to be dug up but they were made good most satisfactorily. The final bill was 5% more than the estimate.

His and his co-worker's committed approach to the project included excellent ideas for 'fine tuning' as the work progressed, with meticulous discussion and subject to my agreement. The work was carried out professionally in excellent time and within the agreed budget (it was clear when adjustments to the design would entail a change in the quotation). The site was left completely tidy at the end of the work, and Tom had good advice for the future care of the garden. Tom is genuinely the best contractor I have ever used. If only more were like him. His work is first class. My patio had some complicated cuts and angles and he did a fantastic and neat job. He is reliable and tidy and always asked me my opinion on how to finish off those details you can never quite visualise initially. He is extremely knowledgeable and his experience and design flair turned a basic idea I had into a clean, simple yet strikingly impressive end result. His quote was in my opinion excellent value, but for me more importantly was his professionalism and attention to detail which is priceless. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
