Cleaning Services.
I would be happy to recommend this company. We have a cleaner come every week, always on time, through and very efficient. Does a good job & pays attention to detail, will happily be flexible. Company has good rates, guidelines and a good admin service.

End of tenancy cleaning of a 2 beds 2 bath flat in London.
We have requested an end of tenancy cleaning from Tersus and all we had was a single person who did a basic cleaning for 5 hours in the flat, we paid in advance. The problem is that during check out (later on the same day), the clerk concludes that this property has not been professionally cleaned and therefore another full deep clean was required. We got back to Tersus asking for a refund which they vigorously refuse in a very aggressive email sending us some before after photos of some areas which have been cleaned. We then got back to our agency who suggest that they come back to finish the work which they again vigorously refused as well (the contact, Andrew, has been aggressive again with the agency employee). Now I have to pay for another professional cleaning which will be taken of my deposit. If I had time and money, I would certainly file a claim against them. I do not recommend this company who pretend to do end of tenancy cleaning and feels comfortable when an independent check out company explain the quality of its work was poor.

We reject the customer’s claim that the property was not professionally cleaned and we have before and after photos. The clients toiled was stained with lime scale and was permanently discoloured along with the bath tap due to not being regularly cleaned. Before the cleaning the client was informed that there is nothing we can do with regards to the discolour of the bath and toilet, which had become dark brown. The client agreed that the cleaning should go ahead either way. Cleaning alone does not make a product as new again especially if you did not clean your toilet and bath for such a long time. Wear and tear also plays apart, even with ceramics.

We had fortnightly domestic cleaning services and the company held a set of our keys as we weren't usually home to let the cleaner in.
We had been using Tersus cleaning services for 6 months and had been relatively happy with the quality of cleaning if not the customer service when they emailed us less than 24 hours before our next clean was due and told us they were no longer providing domestic cleaning services (which, 3 months later, they still advertise on their website). We requested that they return our keys immediately and after multiple emails they finally said they would drop them off at our flat. They still have not done this and the security of our flat is at risk as a result. They do not return our calls. This is in conjunction with rude treatment while we were still customers; cleaners turning up late or not turning up at all, sending us rude emails when we told them they had overcharged us before they admitted their mistake..  an altogether unprofessional company and an extremely disheartening experience.

To clarfy the situation regarding the keys, our ex-employee was in possession of the keys and did not return them to us after employment ended. Keys have been recovered and will be sent to client within 7 days.

End of tenancy cleaning including carpet cleaning.
I paid for carpet cleaning which I made clear needed to be completed by 2.30 which is when the check out inventory took place. The carpet cleaner did not arrive until 1.56pm. By this time it was impossible for the carpets to be cleaned before the check out was due and I have been charged by the Landlord for this. I feel the managers attitude could have been better when I complained and refused to offer a refund. He said it was not their problem as the cleaner got lost, the road was blocked and that we did not provide parking. This is not true.

We totally refute the customers’ comments. The customer was not at the property instead he had a friend there. Our website makes it clear that it is the client's responsibility to provide our cleaners with parking but the customer did not have residential parking like other residents and there was no parking within 300 metres of his property. The general cleaners arrived at 9am and they did their job, and the carpet cleaner arrived at 1.30pm not at the time stated by the customer, and spent 30 minutes looking for parking but could not find any, there was a cement truck broken down in the middle of the road when the cleaner first arrived at 1.30pm. We will defend our position vigorously against any legal action taken against Tersus and we stand by our actions.

End of tenancy cleaning.
It was a bit surprising at first when just a lone cleaner turned up at the property. I was expecting a full cleaning team. Carpet cleaning equipment arrived later, but the first impression wasn't very good. However, the work they did was brilliant. They missed a spider web or two, but all nasty stains from kitchen tops were gone and we were convinced they would stay there forever. Good work overall.
