Getting to the header tank was very difficult in this old building. James was warned but assured us that it was no trouble for him and successfully completed the work cheerfully and with no fuss. He gave good subsequent advice and charged a fair price. I would thoroughly recommend this plumber.

Plumber left house in my opinion without checking for leaks. Value in airing cupboard found leaking same day. Bath tap inlet pipe leak found several days later when water came through kitchen ceiling onto live electrical equipment.

Response from Thanet Plumbing:
Unfortunately our account differs to this customer. We have a signed job sheet stating that the work had been checked by the customer and had been completed to their complete satisfaction. The valve in airing cupboard was not installed by us and was advised to the customer as being faulty. The bath tap leak was rectified on the same day as notified, out of hours and free of charge, even though it was found to be part of the existing pipe work of the house, not installed by us. We were surprised when the customer complained to us 2 weeks later by recorded delivery letter as there had been no other contact indicating dissatisfaction. We responded within 48 hours with an offer to repair their valve at cost price but had no further response.

The bathroom has been completely remodelled, tiled and finished to an excellent standard. James gave advice re the shower screens which was spot on. There was a necessity to change the existing small water tank, this also was completed promptly and effectively. I had used James before and more recently for a leaking hot water tank, just as we departed on holiday. James responded promptly and all was sorted. He is my first choice for any plumbing issues and offers a 5* service.
