Excellent, efficient, polite, fast and very tidy. The work was completed very quickly and they left the area spotlessly clean - having had to take everything they felled through the house. They even took care to change the time at which they came because the weather forecast for the originally agreed time was bad. We recommend them with out hesitation.

I was satisfied with the work he carried out and even more satisfied with the tidying up the pair did once the work was complete. Iain took time to fully discuss pros and cons of felling our old, neglected Elder tree, and what we could put in its place. He was sensitive to the best interests of the tree, and clearly not just out to maximise his income. Having had a truly professional trim, the tree looks nurtured and happier already, and the hedge has a precision cut to boot.

I needed my trees trimming, in rather difficult circumstances - Iain was very helpful and supportive throughout, helping me decide on the best course of action. They did a great job on the day - the trees are now more balanced and the problem areas have been dealt with sympathetically. The access was tricky, but they quickly solved any problems and left the area clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them - friendly, considerate and did an excellent job. A pleasure to deal with.

I was delighted with the work that was undertaken - it was not an easy task but Iain carried out it with great care. I was not around when the work was done but it was obvious that it had not been rushed. The tidiness was excellent - if it wasn't for the obvious absence of the tree you wouldn't have known that he had been there.

Iain turned up on time on date specified, the Cyprus bushes were so old and established, that they were really hard work. However, Iain did not give up and eventually they were removed along with other old established shrubs. The light that now comes into my garden is amazing. He was neat, tidy and very caring about his work. The price for doing the work was also very competitive, with other quotations obtained. Everything, was cleared up and shredded on site. I would definately recommend the Arbor Barber to all my friends and colleagues.

Superb. Iain Palmer' s team seemed to positively enjoy the hard graft involved in removing these eyesores. They turned up at 8:00am one day, worked really hard all day and then came again the following morning (again at 8:00am) to finish the job. When they left, they insisted on tidying up, even though we had asked them not to bother (the whole garden is to be turned over for growing food). Highly recommended. Iain advised on a 3 year plan for a completely rampant mixed hedge - about 10 feet plus to be reduced to 6 feet or less, plus a reduction of width by one third. He was realistic and knowledgeable about how much could be achieved within the first year without shocking the shrubs and killing them. The result is far more pleasing than I had hoped for year one, and I look forward to it's conclusion. Iain even saved a bird's nest he found berried in the depths for my 4 year old to marvel at.
