First trader to give a typed quotationg within 2 days of coming to view. Karen is punctual, clean, tidy, as a female I found it easier to communicate with a lady decorator, first class work to boot.

Bedroom, and Bathroom, painted

I have used karen before for my living room, and was extremely pleased with the result and the professional manner with which she and Carla work, so I did not hesitate to contact them again when I decided to get my bedroom and bathroom decorated, I hardly even knew they were in my house, most of the work was done when I was at work, and karen even popped back on saturday morning to check the finished result as paint was still wet when she had left on friday, everything was to my satisfaction, and exactly as I had asked, Karen helped me decide on colours and her advice was spot on, I have recommended karen to several friends and family and would like to thank her very much for all her hard work.

This is the second time I have used the Decorating Company. The attention to detail was slightly below the first job they did for me, however, when I pointed out a couple of things I wasn't happy with, the girls returned as soon as possible to rectify them. I would definitely use this company again. I left them a key so that they could let themselves in and out whilst we were away and they even fed my cats for me whilst we were away (over and above a decorating job!!) The real test for any company is how well they handle a situation if the job hasn't quite gone to the satisfaction of the customer and the Decorating Company passed this test "with flying colours" - excuse the pun!

Painting and decorating.

First class work done by professional people that treated my home with repect as though it was their own. I could'nt fault the company and the quality of the work was second to none. I'll be more than happy to use them again for further rooms in my bungalow.Them....well done ladies !!

Painting of hall, stairs and landing

All the work was completed on schedule, in a clean and tidy manner. One or two things had not been finished quite as I had expected. These were dealt with immediately, in a friendly manner at no extra charge, to my satisfaction. The two painters were quiet and efficient; it was wonderful to have a big job completed so quickly (as promised). I have already recommended The Decorating Company to several friends.

Two rooms prepared and decorated

Very efficient. The quotation arrived quickly and was detailed and broken down. Karen and her colleague turned up when they said they would and were neat and tidy throughout. The finished work was excellent. The extra cost was due to an extra coat being required for the larger room. However, Karen only charged us for the extra paint required.

Painting ceiling, walls and woodwork of lounge

I have used the Decorating Co before and, as before, they were excellent. What is particularly good is the 'after-care' ensuring there are no problems.

Painted most walls and all woodwork of 3 bed roomed bungalow

Karen was extremely helpful, from start to finish of her work for us. She sent a quote promptly by email and although we originally decided not to go for her as we had a much lower quote, the alternative person never put their quote in writing or got back to us! Karen was very happy to commence the work, despite our earlier rejection. She made helpful suggestions when we had questions about the work as we do not have much experience with painting and she did re-do some of the painting we had done, at our request - painting is not as easy as it looks! Once the work was completed she was happy to return to do additional work which we had not been clear about - at no extra cost - in fact her eventual charge was slightly less than quoted as she used less paint. I would have no hesitation in recommending her, and in fact will do so again when more work needs to be done. Thank you Karen!

Painted most walls and all woodwork of 3 bedroom bungalow

Karen was very helpful and efficient. She gave regular feedback on the progress of the work and informed us we had a leaky radiator so that we could get it fixed before new carpets were laid. She was helpful when prospective tenants arrived to view the property and she was very happy to return to our property the day after completion to remove picture hooks and repaint when we requested this to be done. I would have no hesitation in recommending Karen, in fact I have already done so and... her final quote was slightly less than the original as less paint was needed! A big thank you to Karen and her colleague.
