Install a new timber loft ladder and hatch and board the loft.
Russell turned up on time as he promised. The whole job was finished in early afternoon. Sooner than we expected. They even brought their own dust sheets and covered all my stairway and reception hall. All rubbish was removed and whole area was properly hovered. Real Professional! Hard working. Nice and Neat job. Highly recommended. Will definitely be my first choice for any future home improvement project. Thanks a lot!

I would highly recommend Thompson Construction. Russell is the opposite end of the scale from those rogue builders we've all heard of or experienced - polite, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and quotes a fair price. The workmanship throughout has been of a very high standard. I was particularly impressed with the plastering. As well as all the normal work to fit a new kitchen, building work was required to remove part of a wall to extend and square off an archway, with a steel. Russell orchestrated everything for the whole project to ensure that the right workmen with the right materials came together at the right time, so things were done on schedule. Also, he responded quickly to any queries, whether by phone or email. I chose the builders carefully, and I feel very confident I made the right choice.

Building bespoke built-in shelves.
Russell built bespoke shelves in my lounge which are a major feature of my lounge. As ever he advised me on the finer points of my design and created exactly what I had asked for. The finished shelves are beautiful and practical, holding the weight of around 50 books per shelf. I highly recommend Russell for both practical and creative work, he is extremely reliable, very friendly, gives excellent advice and offers great value for money. I will definitely be booking him in for my next bit of renovation!

Laying of new laminate floor and new skirting boards throughout downstairs and two new internal doors with door frames.
This was the second time I had asked Russell to do work for me on my flat after having been so pleased with him the first time. His work was just as well done this time around.
