Our new bay windows and doors supplied and fitted by Timber Window Renovations look great, but have leaked since the day they were fitted. The situation has been ongoing for 6 months and we are worried about the damage it is causing. Phill initially sent people round twice to make remedial adjustments but we still have a significant leak every time it rains. When we are away during wet weather we have to arrange for friends to come round to mop up which has caused a great deal of stress. With Phill's agreement we have arranged a third party survey to identify the problems, including a quote to carry out the works required. However Phill has not responded to resolve the issue despite our efforts and the urgency of the situation. We are extremely anxious to get this resolved so anything you can do to assist would be much appreciated.

I cannot commend this firm too highly. From the first contact with Phillip, until the completion of the work by Andy we experienced professionalism of the highest order (despite more snow than we have ever experienced here). The replacement window is an exact match, and the draught proofing really works, even on 100yr+ windows. We will be saving for more windows to be refurbished. Highly recommended.

At the time of quote, I was told there would be no more draughts, however, on completion I still have draughts and the trader has said there is no more he can do.

Response from Timber Window Renovation:
I fully explained to the customer at the time of quote that with sash windows there is always a possiblity of some small draughts, although we assure them that 99% of draughts would be improved. I have discussed this with the customer since the work was carried out, and apologise for the fact that the customer feels let down. These windows are box sash with spring balances which have a larger diameter than a sash cord, and consequently a small draught can sometimes be felt where the spring balances are fitted into the bottom sash. Unfortunately, this is a problem with sprung balance sash windows.
