Our Surveyor holds the relevant CSSW Structural Waterproofing qualification and provides a detailed specification report for each project & oversees each job through to a satisfactory completion.

We provide survey reports on all aspects of dampness in buildings including basement waterproofing and flood alleviation.  Our damp and waterproofing design specifications are covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of £100,000.

Our survey process is to learn about the problems you are suffering from, understand why they are happening,  explain the processes to put them right. We are thorough in our approach and our workmanship.

The standard of work was very good. Richard and his team worked long days to finish the job only a day or two later than he had hoped. They did all they could to minimise mess (we were living in the house at the time) and to clear up afterwards. Richard kept us informed, made useful suggestions, and made minor changes when asked without any extra charge. We would certainly use them again.

Control of condensation in the loft and the bathroom.

We had two separate contractors on 2 days for the 2 jobs needed. Both arrived as planned were very pleasant to work with also very clean and efficient. We were very satisfied.

Heater recovery ventilation.

Richard is excellent work. He done the ventilation fans in kitchen and bathroom. Especially heater recovery ventilation had been fitted in the bedroom to dry wall from condensation damp. I find the wall is very drying now, no longer wet or condensation damp. I am so happy in the results.

Complete hallway and ceilings re-plastered.

Top Joints Dry Lining went the extra mile to achieve a perfect finish, removing hand rail supports from the wall using a grinder, taking a radiator off to be get behind it. I had other quotes that refused to do those or plaster in narrow gaps between doors. I would have no hesitation in recommending their high standard of work. Workmen were polite, friendly, diligent and did what they were asked to do and more. And left hallway clean and tidy after they had finished.

2 occasions, one for exterior damp course the other for injection of supplementary damp course.

Richard and his team proved to be more than efficient in their application of the work concerned. In both cases you would have wondered if any work had been carried out, since all traces of debris etc. Were completely removed. I would heartily recommend Richard and co to anyone wishing to have this type of work carried out.

Lo Carbon PoziDry fitted and sub vent.

My wife and I having problem with terrible condensation all window in our property, they came to inspection and explained us what we need to have Lo Carbon PoziDry to be fit in landing ceiling and outside sub vent sorted. They came and fit Lo Carbon PoziDry and sort out outside sub Vents and all work done first class. Richard and His team are very professional work. We are very pleased with their work and now we have no more condensation at all. We would recommendation them to my friends.

Striped sanded and filled floorboards damp course.

This is the 2nd time I have used Top Joints and will use them again. Mr Bone is a very polite, honest, hard working and above all trustworthy. I have no complaints at all on his work or price as everything is explained before hand in person then by phone or email.
