He planned the work with utmost efficiency and told us in which part of the house he'd be working and when and he always cleaned up after every day. Parquet floors sanded and varnished (two-thirds of the floor had been varnished by previous occupants, one-third had been covered with carpet un-varnished). The floors are now all the same colour (previously two different varnishes seemed to have been used), even and look beautiful. The work was done to quote (both timing and cost). Who could ask for more?

Floors were done about a year ago however was only made aware of feedback feature when I searched for Steve's details to recommend to a friend. The work was excellent and has stood the test of time over a year later (work done in May 2010) and that is with a young child tap dancing and riding bikes on the floor! Steve was very friendly and a good time keeper and very tidy in his work. Extremely pleased with the outcome.

Stephen confidently undertook the repair work to my parquet floor where the fireplace had been removed. He then sanded the entire lounge, dining room and hall and although this job is generally very messy he was very tidy and kept dust to a minimum. The parquet floor was pine and was prone to going "orange" and now that he has stained it dark brown and applied a satin sheen varnish it looks contemporary and like a new floor! Thanks Stephen for a great result! As an interior designer I would be very happy to recommend Stephen to any of my clients in the future.
