“On 2nd October 2014, paving works on my driveway, promising to replace the sand and then seal it in a professional manner, it is with regret I feel the need to lodge a complaint as I have found the work to be incomplete, unsightly and not of a standard expected from a qualified person. Various places on the driveway where sand removed from the joints by you have not been replaced in a professional manner and many areas are now evident where sand is missing, excessive or sealed on the paving under the sealant to such an extent, I now feel the driveway needs major work to complete the work.”

Response from Tyne & Wear Paving and Landscaping:
This man is a rogue customer, he was happy and paid me, then rang to say sand was needed. I went back to see him, I explained that when the drive was fitted it should have had edging in to stop the sand running out and he had one block that had sunk over the years. I sent my fitting team to put this right free of charge and he was happy, 5 weeks later he complained again. I would like to add that this job was to jet wash and the customer does not mention this at all in his statement.and that the work we done has lengthened the life span of his old drive.
