Refurbishment of Victorian iron gate
Peter and his colleagues have been a pleasure to work with.  They removed our Victorian iron front gate and had this shot-blasted, repaired and repainted. Additionally they made a new gate for the side passage which matches other gates perfectly.  Later they then fitted a self closer and added handles to other gates which was in addition to the original quote but all agreed upfront. We are delighted with the quality of work, reliability and courtesy that Peter and his team have shown us and we have already recommended him to a number of friends.

Supplied and fitted a lovely iron gate.
The gate was fitted well within the time I needed it and I am more than satisfied with it.  I feel more secure and it looks very nice. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Cannot recommend Peter highly enough. The work was excellent, all delivered on time and he is very friendly. We had multiple quotes for the job and Peter shone through with his quality, experience and professionalism. Will definitely use him again in the future.

Iron railings and gate for front garden wall

Railings and Gate to frontage of property
I run a landscape crew for a landscape company and I have used Peter Coughlan of Urban Iron as a sub-contractor for all our metalwork requirements which include railings (free standing as a fence and on top of brick walls), metal edging and gates for the last 8 years or so. I can safely recommend Urban Iron to any of our clients who wish to employ him independently rest assured that they will be immensely pleased with finished product.
