I created my painting and decorating company ‘Us Girls’ in 2009 after over 25 years in the Retail sector where I was a Pattern Cutter and Technical Manager. 23 of those years were with a high end fashion label. The skills that have transferred across are those of precision, time keeping, clear estimates and cleanliness. The services that ‘Us Girls’ can offer are those of wall-papering, tiling, coving, internal and external painting.

Once you make contact with ‘Us Girls’; the job is viewed, a free estimate follows, if you request ‘Us Girls’ to go ahead, an invoice is only given to you once the job is completed. A free reputation report, which is an important tool for both you as the customer and for the company is also given to you for completion.

Decorating
Excellent in every way. Friendly, efficient, skilled, knowledgeable and helpful. Timing was always good, utterly trustworthy. We would certainly ask them to work here again. I have known Jane Pennock for many years and she has always been the same.

Miss Pennock decorated my dining room. She worked cleanly, efficiently, discussed in advance how she was going to carry out the work and was willing to listen to my comments. I was very pleased with the end result.

Jane was brilliant. Did a fantastic job. Cleared up every evening so we could sit and eat and watch TV. Even ended up giving her a door key to come and go as she pleased. Totally trustworthy. She's coming back in May to do the outside.

Two walls prepared and wallpapered.

We have had some extensive work carried out on our home since January, and as such have had many experiences (some positive, some negative) of various people who have carried out work. Jane and Us Girls were far and away the best - both in terms of standards of work and general likeability! Jane wallpapered two walls to a very high standard. One of which we asked her to use some wallpaper that can only be described as 'challenging to use'. And the other was a very complicated high wall up a staircase that involved going round bannisters and all kinds of nightmare areas. It looks fantastic, and we would definitely use Jane again.

Painted my Daughter's bedroom and put up coving

This is the 4th time we have used "Us Girls" for professional decorating. Jane's high quality of work, attention to detail, time keeping and cheerfulness make her a pleasure to do business with. My Daughter is very pleased with her new "pink palace" bedroom. I would highly recommend this Company and my neighbours are now courting her services!

Bathroom ensuite: Removal of old shower grouting and replacing, repaint walls and ceiling

High quality work with excellent finish. Very reliable decorator - felt confident enough to leave a key to let herself in/out. Cleaned up once the work was completed to a high standard. Kept me informed of progress throughout the job. Worked long hours to get the job done. Thank you very much Jane!
