Gave quote over phone and told me roughly how long it would take. Turned up on time and said he may not have to replace the whole siphon, just the diaphragm and that it would be cheaper. I decided to go for the whole new siphon. It cost exactly as much as quoted and took exactly as long as he said and it was a very clean job. In summary a great, honest, polite and tidy plumber. Very much reccomended

Mark purchased taps which I had been unable to obtain in the usual DIY/plumbing stores, due to them being old wall mounted kitchen taps. He fitted them too. All very reasonably priced, quick and everything is working extremely well. Very happy with work. We have used Mark previously and would definitely use him again.

Even when I needed to call Mark back to fix a minor problem with the cistern under-filling and a very slight leak on the water cut-off valve, he had no hesitation in returning to immediately rectify and remedy the situation. Mark was asked to find a suitable shower unit which would be much easier to use than the original installation; he was given a free hand to choose once the problems had been explained. The new shower was a great success, as the controls were simple to set 'by feel'. In addition, Mark left them set so that the user could simply get under the shower with almost no adjustment. The site work was undertaken efficiently, as the shower was back in action only a couple of hours after the old one had been removed. And the costs were considerably less than we had expected!

We had water coming through our kitchen cabinets from our shower one floor above. We thought the repairs would be costly, but Mark assertained the problem was as simple as resealing the tub/shower area. He estimated two hours but it only took him one. He also fixed a leak we had in our kitchen tap. Again, we weren't really sure how bad the damage would be, but it was just an o-ring! :) Mark was early, very courteous and above all honest! We would definitely recommend him and his business to anyone. Thanks, Mark! It's refreshing to know there are still honest, professional plumbers in the world!

As well as replace the washer Mark replaced some parts that I suspect some plumbers might have left in place in order to help prevent the problem recurring. He also sealed the bath very neatly, which I had not asked him to do in advance, but he was pleased to oblige.

The trader was very polite and apologised for being slightly late and began work on repairing a leak under my sink. This turned out to be a washer that had gone on the cold water tap pipe to the washing machine and the fact that when it was installed last September it had been over tightened by the driver. Secondly, he tried to fix a leak in the shower from the main connection valve. He explained and showed me clearly the problem which turned out to be a corroded thread and suggested I order a new Eaga Shower Smart 1/2 inch main connection on the internet. I have since done so. He charged me an hourly rate which was exactly what he had said beforehand and was friendly, helpful, efficient, confident and competent at his job.

We had a quote from another company for several hundred pounds as told the problem was unfixable. As shower is only 3 years old we thought this a little harsh. Found Mark on Checkatrade and he came and fixed it in no time. Said he wouldn't charge us until we were happy this was the right solution so to wait a couple of weeks. Then the bill came and it was extremely reasonable. Cannot recommend him more highly and I'm keeping his details for all my future plumbing.

Called Mark about the toilet issue, and between calling and the day the work was due to happen, a radiator came off the wall. Mark was able to finish the initial toilet job and fit the radiator work in quite quickly for very little extra. Importantly, he was running late from a previous job, but I was kept up to date as to when he expected to arrive. Have had him around before, and have recommended him on several occasions.

We had originally invited another local company to assess the problem with our dripping shower, We received a bill for a call out fee (of which we weren't advised!) the day after the five minute visit from said company, along with a note to say that the shower could not be fixed and we'd therefore need a new one, Somewhat miffed that we didn't receive a call back, yet they managed to issue a bill the same day as the visit, I went in search of another plumber. I'm extremely pleased that we found Mark. Not only did he secure the part needed very swiftly, he was flexible around hectic diaries in terms of getting it fitted. I found him to be punctual, thorough, courteous and reliable, In addition, he didn't charge a call out fee! We have already passed on his details to others, and are very pleased with the finished result.

Mark fitted a new bathroom suite. As the bath and sink were not going in the same place as previously, Mark worked hard on repositioning the pipework, often staying late to finish the work, but not charging more. When a problem arose a few days later, which was not related to the work he had done, he came out promptly to sort it out without charge. Mark is always very courteous and works hard. He has done work for me before, and I would not hesitate to call him back for other jobs in the future.

I would highly recommend Mark, he is very punctual and has done a great job. I got two quotes for the job I needed doing and he came in at approximately half the first quote. His rates are therefore very competitive (realistic) and I will definitely use again and recommend to others. When he came back to do part 2 of the job he not only turned up early but the job took much longer than expected and was quite difficult/fiddly. Despite this he didn't charge anything extra above what was originally quoted. He is a very honest man and does a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

The solution was completely out of left field but was better than anything the other 2 contractors had provided. He was friendly and polite and also extremely helpful in offering advice that I had asked for regarding other aspects of my house plumbing. I'm really happy with the end product, and the price, which was at the lower end of the price bracket quoted. All went fairly smoothly. He estimated it would take 2 hours, and it would have been a lot quicker, but the fuse had blown as well and I didn't have a spare, so he managed to go out and get new fuses as well as fit the shower within the two hours. Very pleased to have a working shower again.
