W.G. Andrews & Sons was established in 1981 by our father, who started his own business due to being made redundant after 25 years as a qualified plumber and carpenter.

He started out working locally and by word of mouth was soon carrying out work all over London including Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea.
He was then joined by his two sons Wayne Andrews who served his apprenticeship as a plumber with the G.L.C. qualifying with advance City & Guilds and Simon Andrews who served his apprenticeship as a carpenter  joiner with How and Whites qualifying with distinction in City & Guilds. Also joining the company is his grandson Saxon who is also a qualified plumber gaining City & Guilds at Epsom College.

Over a period of time they have all become skilled at other trades especially painting and decorating, but none had any qualifications in paper work so daughters Lisa and Claire were taken on board to make the office run smoothly.

We are a real family concern but there are times that we need extra labour, we then draw on our list of close friends who are all skilled in their own field and have years of experience.
Most of our work is through word of mouth this is due to our craftsmanship, honesty, trust and friendliness which has held is us in good stead since we were first established.
We are also covered by public liability insurance.

Fitted new kitchen.
Having bought a house in which the kitchen can be politely be described as a right mess. They fitted a new kitchen for me which included taking off the existing tiling, skimming the walls, repairing a damaged part of the ceiling and moving some of the pipework. Their work was on budget and done to the highest standard. They kept me informed of what they were doing and with any issues that came up, and made plenty of good suggestions along the way. The kitchen was fitted perfectly and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to you or using them again myself.

Kitchen refit following water leak.
Wayne and his team managed a very difficult piece of work very well, especially given that the true extent of the problem was not evident until the source of the water leak was established. We are very happy with the quality of workmanship and the finished product looks fantastic. Every effort was made to keep the disruption to a minimum and tidy up at the end of each day, which was very much appreciated given that we have a 2 year old running around the place.
