John and his team turned up promptly at 9am (as arranged) and went straight to work after a discussion on what was to go and what was to stay. Everything was removed with the greatest of care and packed securely (with absolutely no damage to any of our possessions after we checked during the unloading). The entire experience was completely stress free with all of our offers of additional hands to help polite turned down! The team were fantastic with a great sense of humour to boot! I cannot recommend this firm highly enough, we were given their details from some friends that used them and sung their praises and I can now honestly see why.

Jonathan and the team were very cheerful throughout, which helped enormously to keep our stress levels down, even though we had a lot of things to move, some awkward and fragile items, and the weather was terrible. They were very careful with our possessions, and whenever we made any comments or suggestions they were always very happy to follow them. We've done quite a few house moves in our time, and this was definitely the best experience we have had. We thought the price was very reasonable too. All in all, very happy to recommend!

Brilliant service from Jonathan and the team, made our move totally stress-free! Everything was moved without apparent effort or fuss, including a very large sofa and mattress that movers usually moan about, and they took excellent care of all our furniture (and the paintwork!). They were also great about making sure everything went exactly where we wanted it and I liked that, having been quoted a (very reasonable) fixed price, we weren't watching the clock all day. Overall they were friendly, competent and extremely professional. Best movers we've ever had!

They are absolutely fantastic, very efficient, courteous, friendly, professional, tidy and organised. From the moment they visited us to give us a quote we could notice that they really care about their business and care about providing the best possible service, giving the customer the least amount of trouble. They were very flexible, punctual and extremely efficient. They packed all of our stuff carefully and without fuss (clothes, crockery/cutlery, toys, CDs, etc). Packing, loading and unloading were very quickly done without any damage or concerns. We couldn’t have gotten a better service. We definitely recommend Waights Removals!

Jonathan and his team made our moving day completely stress free and I was so grateful to them for their unfailing good humour, helpfulness and friendliness. They moved all our items carefully and also helped us to put them into the right rooms at the other end, even though they had to negotiate lots of stairs, busy streets and narrow corridors. I would have no question in recommending Jonathan and Waights Removals to all my friends. They were honest, hardworking and reasonably priced. They also have all the relevant insurance which many of the cheaper 'Man and Van companies' don't have, so worth paying a bit extra for.

I am purposefully making this a very personal recommendation, because these guys truly deserves it. For you reading this and looking for the best and friendliest removal company you can stop searching now. We chose this company for these reasons. The amazing ratings (which are not to good to be true), best quote and purely the tone of the owners voice (it is good to go on instinct). We all have had different experiences with removals or any kind of house work. Often a bit tricky unfortunately, because you need to know what you are paying for, whilst you are not an expert. You have to be tough and be careful with trust. In all honesty these guys lead by Jonathan are a very special team. They really do and mean what they say and more, and with a smile. They are really good and honest people (and very strong and skillfull, we know this because our house was a nightmare small four storey cottage with too much and to big furniture which just about. They really do what they say. They really make a hard, stressful move so much easier. Especially because they do everything with a smile it rubs off. Genuine, genuine people that charge way to little for their work. Seriously, we were still packing when they arrived, which held them back. We needed help with flat packing furniture (disorganised) and they happily and easily solved our problems. What was supposed to be half days work ended up being a full 8am to 12am for very little extra money. They truly are worth so much more. As mentioned make sure you pay them what they earn, because they will go out of their way without charging enough. I know how honest and great and genuine they are because I gained a friend from it. That's a genuine rating for you.

Frankly, it may well have been less expensive for me to have engaged a local firm to handle the second leg of the move. These guys are truly fantastic, I simply couldn't have asked them to do more. I booked literally 2 days before our move so they had very short notice and despite this worked well over the estimated time and into the evening removing a full Luton and then some from two properties both with challenging stairs and difficult angles for larger items. Smiling and hard working to the last my partner and I were left feeling guilty for not having to lift a finger, the lads even asked if our bed was in the right position for us in our new room and moved it to the desired location in addition to setting up the matters for us. They welcomed instruction as to which boxes should go where despite four sets of stairs between some rooms and their van. Truly a magnificently run family business, methodical, considerate and diligent work without charging for the full extra hour leaving me budget to offer a tip which was both deserved and hard earnt. I will be using them again and recommending them to my friends. Thank you for making an important move in our lives a smooth and surprisingly enjoyable experience! Top marks!

In addition Jon and his team proved to be both very flexible and responsible when there was a problem with the lifts at the storage facility which significantly delayed unloading. This flexibility allowed myself and my wife to catch a flight and go on holiday with the truck still loaded. It was an awful rainy day on our move date, we have cream carpets and there was not one bit of dirt on the carpet throughout the day, this is because Jonathan ensured that he wiped his feet each time entering the house. Jonathan does not have a website however all positive comments on this website are true and accurate. We have moved house four times in the last three years and Waights is by far the best removals we have used. I cannot emphasise enough the exceptional standard and quality of service Jonathan provided for us. In fact we were so impressed with him we paid him a little extra! I cannot recommend these people too highly! This was a very difficult move for me, as I am partially disabled. I was very behind with my packing (I have amassed a large collection of books, CD's and records, etc), but they arrived first thing in the morning and spent the day helping me pack before carrying out the actual move, in doing which they displayed evidence of virtually superhuman strength and industry! Jon then returned the following Monday to help move the remaining few items after the final clear-up of my old flat, all at a bargain price. Moreover, Jon and his assistant on the Friday were two of the nicest and most considerate people you could ever hope to meet. If I could award a score of 11 or more in every respect, then I would willingly do so ...

Phoned Waights removals regarding moving from Eastbourne to Hove on Monday 20th September as I was in a rush to move, Jonathan was very professional and completely understanding of my situation. Jonathan arrived at my address in Eastbourne at the time we arranged with a member of his staff and handled my property with such expertise and care. All unboxed items were individually wrapped in blankets to make sure no damaged was caused in transit.
