Walker Roofing have just completed a strip and re-tile of the entire roof of our 3 storey Victorian semi. Jamie provided advice and guidance throughout and project managed the entire job personally, including arranging other tradesmen to assist with some extra work (carpentry, plastering and decorating) that we added to the job. The entire work was completed promptly and to a very high standard, and this has already been favourably commented on by several neighbours. Having had very mixed experiences with local roofing companies in the past I feel sure Walker Roofing are one of the best. They were also the only company prepared to do an emergency repair in late December when the original 110yr old clay tiling started to fail badly, causing rain damage internally. I would highly recommend Walker Roofing, Jamie in particular as well as his excellent, courteous and hard-working team!

After several unsuccessful attempts over preceding weeks to arrange for roofers to visit and quote for works on my roof, I tried yesterday calling Walker Roofing. I got through to an answer machine and, wanting to speak only to a 'real person' left no message and went on to call several other roofing firms - with still no result. Within an hour I received a call from Jamie Walker, who had dialled 1471. He politely asked what the problem was and arranged to visit between 09.30 and 10.30 this morning. I am typing this at 10.35, Jamie just having left having completed the repair and even clearing grass from the guttering! Truly excellent service.

I found that I was unable to access quality of work as it was done on the roof. I found that the cost for 3 hours work seemed rather a lot and there were no terms and conditions on the estimate. They wanted payment on completion of the job, I paid later.
