Thanks for looking at our page! Watertite has been going for over 8 years now. Richard Foot the owner (13 years experience) has a wide range of experience in most plumbing/gas/heating aspects. Originally trained in industrial plumbing/heating and ventilation and also undertook a large amount of bathroom & sanitary ware installations for the MOD, hospitals etc.(and we even fitted a huge central heating system under the Mary Rose!!) Then moved employment to working on domestic properties for a large firm, overseeing heating installations and gas work all around Dorset for several Councils. Finally moving to another large local firm as a foreman that mainly did new build site work, where again a whole new range of skills were needed as opposed to working in existing homes/industrial premises.

Since 2004 we have taken on all kinds of jobs from general gas installations, heating systems, boiler repair, servicing, wet rooms and under floor heating. We are happy to have a look at any job however big or small, the quotes are free and as you can see from our customer feedback we will honestly advise on the best solution for your situation. You may also notice that most of our feedback comments are from more challenging jobs than just changing a ball cock/tap washer. Thus meaning we have performed a complicated and some times messy job to high standards, keeping the customer happy at all times. 

Quality of work and customer satisfaction is very important to us and you will be able to see from our work and attitude towards you the customer and your home that we don't just "slap in" cheap materials in and run. All pipe work is neat, properly clipped and to current standards. We are tidy, reliable and respectful.

Installed new boiler,replaced under floor pipes, fitted new radiator

Richard and Phil are a great team. Richard (Watertite) was recommended by friends in 2006 when we moved house and experienced immediate heating system problems. Richard has looked after our ever ageing boiler and heating system since until finally this year the boiler gave up and we decided to start again. Richard gave us thorough professional advice on which type of boiler to choose, and was fully conversant with current regulations. When it came to light that the under floor steel pipes needed to be replaced to prevent corrosion, he gave a complete competitive price for the work. Richard and Phil worked solidly for 3 days, replacing pipes, fitting, and commisioning the new boiler. It was so lovely to come home to a warm house finally. The good news is part of the guarantee requires Richard to service the boiler annually for 5 years, giving us real peace of mind. Richard has in the past also replaced our downstairs loo and shower. We will also be asking him to refurbish our shower room, in the future. He is always great to deal with, very knowledgeable and attentive. We would have no hesitation in recommending him. Great job Richard and Phil, thank you once again.

Boiler Malfunction

Rich was brilliant! He came out at short notice to check our boiler, which was playing up. What's more was that it was his day off and he didn't charge. He gave some advice and said he would happily come out again if we had any more trouble.

Got our ancient radiators in the office working

Faulty boiler

I would highly recommend Richard and his team. They were upfront, honest and very reliable. Whilst working to fix our boiler Richard found a further fault and went beyond our expectations by sourcing a part in his own time to ensure we would not be without heat over Christmas. They left the work area in an impeccable condition once they had finished. Watertite would be my first port of call for any plumbing or heating problems.

Boiler Service

Fitted a new boiler at the East Dorset Tennis and Croquet Club. Very helpful, courteous, reliable and efficient. Won the contract against competition. Did a good job.

New boiler

Job done very well and professionally, Richard explained what needed doing and took us through the work done when completed. Left them to do it with no hassle as we needed to be at work during the fitting of the boiler. Definitely recommend.

New boiler fitted

Richard and Phil were excellent they were punctual, courteous and very professional, very impressed how they left our home afterwards. They screwed down all uplifted floorboards and tidied up after themselves, highly recommend. They were also very helpful explaining how to operate new boiler, which works perfectly.
