We started Weatherbeaters in 1980 when PVCu first started to be used as a building product, we had been working in conventional materials, when the big storm hit in 1987 we started using back boarding method of roofline the strongest method and used by some of our competitors now. We progressed to windows, conservatories and building works as a result of our customers requests.
We are members of The Guild of Master Craftsmen and Federation Of Master Builders and are Swish approved installers of Swish products. We are skilled in roofing, we carry our own access equipment tower scaffolds etc, we are Fensa registered.

Demolishing and rebuilding a chimney
I have used this excellent family company several times before. Our chimney was damaged in a storm in the Christmas week, I contacted Bert who came round immediately, he had scaffolding on our house within 24 hours and the team worked immediately, at a busy time of year, to make it safe and then re-build it. Every single one of the lads who work for Bert is professional, hard-working and really friendly. Bert himself is a perfectionist who overseas all the work personally.

Built new porch on front of house
Bertie and his team were extremely helpful, polite and courteous. Their workmanship was second to none and even my step father, who is a retired builder, was impressed and said the price was very realistic. I did ask for extra work to be done whilst the porch was being built which they were happy to deal with. Bertie's communication was excellent and called me everyday when I got in from work to explain what was done and what is going to happen over the following days. My next door neighbour also asked them to them to replace fascias which they did the following week. They are very decent trades people and would not hesitate to call them again if I need more work doing.
