I have used this excellent family company several times before. Our chimney was damaged in a storm in the Christmas week, I contacted Bert who came round immediately, he had scaffolding on our house within 24 hours and the team worked immediately, at a busy time of year, to make it safe and then re-build it. Every single one of the lads who work for Bert is professional, hard-working and really friendly. Bert himself is a perfectionist who overseas all the work personally.

Bertie and his team were extremely helpful, polite and courteous. Their workmanship was second to none and even my step father, who is a retired builder, was impressed and said the price was very realistic. I did ask for extra work to be done whilst the porch was being built which they were happy to deal with. Bertie's communication was excellent and called me everyday when I got in from work to explain what was done and what is going to happen over the following days. My next door neighbour also asked them to them to replace fascias which they did the following week. They are very decent trades people and would not hesitate to call them again if I need more work doing.

This was not an easy job as it turned out the top third of the house was being held up by a piece of railway track ! Working off scaffolding the team had to carefully remove and replace it. They were excellent, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Most impressive is the way Bert oversees all the work, he knows so much about all aspects of building and insists on great attention to detail- I would genuinely recommend them.
