Hi my name is Philip Whitehead.  I own Whiteheads Paint 2 Paper, we are a family run business with over 30 years experience.

We are Professional Painters & Decorators and we offer quality decorating to all customers throughout Southampton we also cover all areas of Hampshire.

WHITEHEAD‘S PAINT 2 PAPER has many years experience and knowledge in the painting and decorating trade. We are a family run business situated in Southampton where we have a satisfied customer base located in Hampshire.

Whiteheads Paint 2 Paper originally come from Cardiganshire in West Wales where we have worked for many painters & decorators over the years. .

We pride ourselves on being friendly, approachable, trustworthy, clean and tidy professional decorators having excellent attention to detail and very competitive rates. The business has been driven purely on reputation, customer satisfaction, ratings and reviews.

Bathroom tiling & shower installation
Mr Whitehead came to do our bathroom tiling and install a shower. He worked extremely hard and done an excellent job which remains very serviceable one year on. I would be happy to recommend this company.

Various decorating work
Mr Whitehead laminated a floor, decorated a new build conservatory and made good a hole in the utility room where an old boiler had been removed - it is such a good repair you cannot even see where the hole was! He also decorated a room in the house and this is the second time we have used Mr Whitehead and we have found him to be reliable, courteous & totally trustworthy. I would be happy to recommend this company.

Decorating of hall, stairs and landing

After satisfactory completion of work to lounge, six months later one wall has developed cracks and the plaster is loose. It needs re-plastering and redecorating . Mr Whitehead has failed to respond and correct the faulty workmanship. I therefore would not recommend him and withdraw previous good review

I am sorry to hear of the customers’ withdrawal of previous feedback due to a wall in her lounge developing some cracking six months after work was completed. I did some time ago speak with the customer and agreed to go round to take a look at what had happened but was unable to at the time as I was looking after my family due to sickness. Shortly after I became unwell. While working on the hall stairs and landing area I did notice that when heavy buses past the address in question the whole house shook. I remember having a conversation with the customers’ husband about this. I believe that the cracking has been caused by the traffic and not my workmanship as this has never happened to myself on any other work I have completed over the years as a decorator.

Redecorate Hall

Phil removed ceiling tiles and wallpaper, the walls were plastered and painted along with painting all surrounding woodwork. The finished work was fantastic we were delighted. Phil has done work for us in the past and we wouldn't hesitate to approach him again. Always friendly reliable hardworking and tidy. Thank you Phil.
