This is our second job completed by Whites Roofing and Guttering. This time only a small repair to our old roof. Steve is very courteous and polite and when he couldn't come at the pre-arranged time, rang to confirm a new time on the same day. Response from Whites Roofing & Guttering:
The job over run due to unforeseen work that had to be carried out. The extra work I completed, I did not charge any extra for. I did a small re-roof at the back of the property which I priced for one and a half days work. Where it had been leaking for so long I had to replace a lot more timber than expected. This took me two and a half days overall and I did not charge any extra. I did receive several phone calls that I tried replying to but only got the answer phone. I did send the 10 year guarantee in the post soon after the work was carried out. I can send another guarantee out which I will deliver by hand that is not a problem. All of the work that has been carried out is to the best standard like all of my work. In all of the years I have been working I have not had one complaint.

The only issue, which was not really Steve's fault was that he was delayed in starting the work due to being too busy, that should say it all really. I gave the customer the quotation which she excepted. We started the work then a couple days in we find some hidden problems, This has to be rectified before we can carry on with the original work. This meant we had to go off and get more materials. Before we done that,Then the customer was just going out for the day she asked how we were getting on i replied ok thanks but we have found some problems which i described to her which she replied if it is like the rest of the house it doesnt suprise me ok just carry on and do what you need to do.We finished the work and for the extras i only charged her for the materials. I thought she was happy with everything and she was told about the extras.

I had no problems with the work at all, Steve is a nice bloke and uses good quality materials.Unfortunately he left souring some components until the day of the job and had to go to a few places which was not communicated to me. However I have no issues in trusting Steve to do a good job and the work was completed in a speedy and efficient manner and I would have no qualms recommending Steve to anyone

The work was booked in 2 weeks previous but the client cancelled this, i managed to fit the work in and started it on the correct date but some of the materials were out of stock so i had to go to another merchants for the materials which made me an hour late on the day.
