David responded same day to my Mum's call in regard to her bathroom light which appeared to have a wiring problem after trying to change the bulb - two bulbs immediately blew when installed. David quickly realized it was the old bulbs that were faulty and not the wiring. He replaced the bulb with one that worked and did not charge my Mum anything, no call out and refused my mum's offer of 'petrol money'. She got David's card and would not hesitate to call him again or recommend him - which she has already done to many of her friends, commenting that he was very friendly, polite, kind and obviously knew 'his business'. I would certainly call David for any electrical work!

We used Dave 4 years ago, to re-wire the house. We then had a sudden problem last week with the fuse box keep tripping. Dave came on th Sat afternoon, and spend several hours locating the problem and fixing it. This was not an emergrncy, although for us was very inconvient, and we were delighted with his speedy and very effeiceint service!

An absolutely first-class job. He was very friendly and took great care throughout, had all the equipment including dust sheets, left everything spotless and cleared away all the rubbish when he'd finished. He was very careful about moving furniture, and he solved problems as they arose with minimum fuss (e.G two of the new wall lights were slightly smaller than the old ones, but you couldn't see any difference on the wallpaper). We were told by our supplier he was good, and he certainly was - I'd recommend him without any hesitation at all.

My father had broken the dimmer switch and his light bulbs were falling out of the overhead fittings. These were all replaced with better quality fitments. Very reasonable price for the work. My father, who is 84, feels confident that, should he need to call an electrician again, he could get a good job done at a very competitive price by using Williams Electrical.

He was extremely courteous and patient through it all, he arrived on time and gave me confidence in his work. The work in the bathroom was done in 2008 and we were very happy with the result. David worked very efficiently and was easy to communicate with. The doorbell was a more difficult problem, as it was difficult to establish where the problem lay. But David identified the source of the problem and was able to restore its operation effectively.

After a brief telephone conversation, David was able to give me a price estimate and book an appointment time.  He arrived exactly on time and got straight to work: wiring and fitting a fiddly chandelier. After the wiring, David then attached all the various crystals and even helped to make sure they were all at an even level, as the crystals were not all made the correct level as they should be.  Paid the price I was quoted David slap tidied up and vacuumed at the end. I would thoroughly recommend David. Had a few people to come to quote for this job and David was not only the best price, but straight down the line in terms of explaining what was needed and absolutely no rubbish when talking through the work. We had several quotes from different electricians on checkatrade but David was the only one who was informative enough to give us different options.  We felt that David's expertise and knowledge was right for the job and we were not disappointed with our choice. When it was found out that we had aluminium wiring on the downstairs sockets and the RCBOs in the consumer unit could not be fitted to that circuit he corrected the problem very quickly and proficiently.
