I had my carpets cleaned by Wizard Cleaning last week and have to say I was so pleased. I booked the job on the phone with Jon and who was very informative and friendly explaining what I had to do in preparation for the booking. He sent along a gentleman called Dave and when he arrived he came in with this huge machine. I was amazed how he managed to transform my old dirty carpets to look good as new again. There were some old stains that didn't come out on the last clean but Dave seemed to get them out without much effort at all. There was one stain he couldn't get out but he had pointed this out at the start so I wasn't expecting this to one to go. I have used other companies in the past but have to say have not always been satisfied with the service. Wizard Cleaning impressed me from start to finish and everyone I spoke to from their team were very helpful, informative and a joy to have in my home and I will definitely be recommending them to my friends. My mother has already booked them in next week and I am looking forward to seeing the results. The price was very reasonable too so all in all a job well done.

I called wizard cleaning and was amazed when they said they could come the next day! We have just moved into a new rental house and the carpets were quite dirty and I was worried about the carpets in the children's bedrooms especially, the person on the phone explained the process and how the carpets would be healthier to live with after the cleaning. They arrived on time and the man was very polite. All the carpets even the stair carpets were coming up so well I asked him to clean a sofa we had brought with us and was 5 years old and looked shabby and he made that look lovely too. I will be having them back soon as I wish I'd got him to do some chairs. Just very happy with the service and couldn't recommend them more highly.

I was not happy with this service. I paid extra + vat on top of the quoted price and the carpets are exactly the same, they have been hoovered and not a single mark or stain has been removed. Wizard cleaning said they do not guarantee stain/grease removal but not a single one? Really? But they are happy to charged a higher amount over their normal price and to say we tried afterwards. I would not use them again.

We picked keys up from the estate agents and upon entering the property rang customer to inform them that carpets were in very bad condition. We did discuss a pre clean which we said would help give the best results possible but could not give any guarantees as they were in a very bad way. We explained that we would do the best we could which they accepted. When cleaning we could see there was a big difference but there were some areas we were not able to improve a great deal. I think the customer's expectations were not in line with what was achievable. Also, as they were not there when the job was being done, may have thought it was not done properly or rushed which certainly was not the case.

The carpet cleaner that came out was excellent. The cost was a little more than quoted, but I was fully expecting this due to the state of some of the carpets. The end of tenancy cleaners did a pretty good job, but there were one or two things that the don't do (crayon on walls and so on), which kind of defeats the purpose of a deep clean.

My experience from start to finish was superb. Highly professional and courteous. When I initially booked the appointment I was struck by how professional and customer friendly the staff were on the phone. I was then kept up to date / reminded by phone the day before that the appointment was still scheduled at the time I'd booked. And when the cleaner turned up, he was great. I was warned before the work was done that a few of the marks on the edge of the carpet would not come out, the clean did make them a bit better though and overall really improved the look of the carpet and completely got rid of the slightly bad smell from the carpet. The technician was really polite, really fast and communicated perfectly what I would expect from the job. I couldn't recommend this company more and will be calling them back to do other parts of the house.

I felt that they were a bit slap dash, lots of shouting between the two workmen to communicate. I found that a lot of water was applied to carpet so took a long time to dry. Stains left in places and hall I had to mop after they had gone.

I have since tried to call the customer but he has not responded. I never got a call regarding this complaint so this is the first I have heard that there was a problem. From the comments I can see that the customer was concerned there was a lot of shouting. We do use machines that make a lot of noise so communication is necessary between cleaners. The method of cleaning is hot water extraction and although we do extract most of the moisture you do have to allow time for materials to be completely dry. If carpets are extremely dirty they may need more than one application which can add to the drying time. With stains although every effort is made to remove as many stains as possible we cannot guarantee to remove all marks and this is always made very clear. In my opinion, from time to time peoples expectations are higher than what is actually achievable so I'm not sure if this was the case here. I cannot comment about the mess in the hall as I was unable to speak to the customer and by the time I got the complaint through the cleaner who did the job was unable to remember all the details of the job.

My lounge carpet which was extremely dirty came up great. It did cost me a little extra for a pre wash (I was informed of this prior to the carpet cleaner arriving) The carpet cleaner ran through the pros and cons of having this extra treatment I feel that this is the best clean on my carpets that I have ever had (I have used other firms in the past) and would certainly recommend this company to others.
