We are delighted with our new kitchen. Woodchip Carpentry was great to work with from start to finish. They gave us excellent advice from the outset which all proved to be correct. Neil and his team worked to a very professional standard. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with the minimum of fuss. We wanted our built in cooker replaced with a standalone cooker. Neil removed the appliance, it's housing unit and cut the existing worktops, plinths and laminate flooring to size. Neil paid attention to smallest details and the finished result far exceeded our expectations. We are delighted. Thank you.

All of the work was done in a timely manner with Neil arriving at the time promised, and being polite and professional throughout. The finish to all the work with the skirting, architraves and the new wall, door etc is extremely good. At the end of each day Neil did the clean up of any mess and this was done to a good standard. We will be using Woodchip Carpentry again for future work this year and probably again after that due to the quality of his work and his sensible pricing and would recommend him to others.

We called Neil out to fit our shower tray for our wet room. He was provided with the instruction book by the manufacturer and we told him we wanted the shower tray to be slotted in as it would be tiled over, he discussed about raising the floor but we weren't happy as it would look ridiculous, but he did as he wanted and raised the floor. We had to get a professional to redo it all again.

I have done everything that's been asked of me. .Many of the claims against me in my opinion i feel are untrue I can't understand why this customer never once made any of these claims when I was actually on the job and they have claimed things that I have not even done..An example....a shower tray in a wet room You don't have a shower tray in a wet room The customer was being mislead by other people who were in the back ground trying to be clever and they kept moving the goal post.The job they employed me to do was to level and strengthen a floor which I achieved competently and on time, not to fit a shower tray and never once was I shown a manufacturers instruction book I was never late to the job, in fact I turned up twice to find they weren't there I was never rude, and I always left the house tidy I was never rude ...And they paid me in full.

I would highly recommend Neil to anyone - excellent professional and really cared about the finished article. I found Neil to be clean , tidy , courteous and found his prices to be very reasonable especially with the quality of his work. Neil even said he would get me some additional door handles and would be back with them at some stage. I never expected him to come back the same day and offer to fit them free - in this day and age this is unheard of. Absolutely excellent - the work was done quickly and cleanly at a very fair price, and the results are great. Neil was very punctual and did a great job clearing up afterwards - highly recommended. We know from sad experience that hanging doors and fitting handles etc is a job for the expert and must be done to a very high standard -the other doors had been very badly fitted by another joiner and were a constant annoyance and affected the whole look of the property, so we were especially pleased that Neil was able to correct them, as well as fitting the rest of the doors perfectly.

Neil completed the main work within a week, having planned for 7 -8 days. He passed on a discount for taking early delivery of the units and storing them for a week, this brought the job in below estimate. Minor rectification to the plumbing was promptly and courteously completed by his sub contracted plumber. All work was done with the minimum of disruption. Payment was only accepted after we were completely satisfied. This is the second time I have used Woodchip carpentry, but it will not be the last. A delightful job.

He is such a friendly and polite tradesman and a pleasure to have in our home. His quality of workmanship is very high and his pricing was very reasonable (he refunded us the difference on some spindles he over ordered on - he wanted to make sure he had enough to do the job which he explained when he quoted to us). He did this all in super quick time (as he did before when he hung 7 hardwood doors for us) which meant I wasn't stuck at home all day :-)! He was very tidy and cleaned up after himself. We support a person with complex needs and autism and needed a tailor made door for this particular persons needs as a matter of safety. Neil was very polite, thoughtful and helpful. As a care provider; we were really impressed by his manner towards our service user and the project over-all. Neil seemed interested in you as a customer who sought to understand exactly what we needed. We knew we would never be able to buy a door to meet our specifications, but he had no qualms about taking our measurements etc and creating the exact door we needed for our service users safety. Neil did exactly as he described and explained he would. He has a very re-assuring presence and did above and beyond what we expected at absolutely no additional cost. We are delighted at the result of the door. (Better than we expected). Neil came to us recommended by Bracknell Social Services who swear by him - and I can now see why.
