The structural work was complicated as we had to maintain an original flint and bungaroosh front wall. The construction was excellent throughout and the finish superb. Many experts and visitors have expressed amazement that the build from demolition to finished house only took 7 months. A testament to a truly dedicated and skilled team which we would recommend to anyone considering a building project in Brighton no matter how large or small.

The job they completed :- Dining room knocked through into existing kitchen. Then stripped out and converted to one large kitchen. For anyone reading this and wondering whether to use "Wooden It Be Nice" for their building works. I would "Strongly" recommend Barry and his team. This is the second time we have used Barry. The last time was for a large 2 storey extension. And my comments this time round on CheckATrade are as complimentary as the last. The quality of the workmanship and attention to the minutest of detail you won’t find with any other builder. Barry and his team are 100% customer focused. Which is tough to find these days. If you are not happy or have any concerns with any element of the job they strive to make it right. The end result of this service excellence is "Our kitchen is like something out of a glossy showroom magazine." It’s highly impressive, and you could not pick fault with the workmanship even if you tried. My wife is fussy and even she can not find anything to pick holes in. :-). I would happily be a reference point for Barry and his team. For anyone whom is in need of a decent trust worthy builder. We spent many hours looking into different building firms and looking at their workmanship. If you are going to spend a chunk of money on a large build you need to ensure you get the right team. Finally deciding on Barry and his team was the best thing we ever did. The entire project ( 4 months long ) was project managed by Barry. And his team are some of the most dedicated / hard working team I have ever come across. Every single day rain or shine we had the team here. If you want a quality job done. I would advise you go with these guys. Any issues or problems are dealt with. Communication is always open honest and professional. The project manager Barry was onsite every day. We were always informed ahead of time what the plan was for the following week. How the schedule was proceeding and he always wants to know how you are feeling in relation to the project. Overall I would never employ any other building firm. Wooden It Be nice strive to be a number one customer service company. This is the exact service we got. First class - Thanks Guys

the guys were fantastic. we had a total refurb of ground floor (gutting the whole place; laying new floor; structural works and new shower room). this took some 3 months to have a place ready to move in. cannot fault them on the work. additional work done in laying decking in the garden and refurbishment of small bedroom. all work was great. would not hesitate on recommending them.

The chaps also put fire retarding plasterboard upon two 100 year old ceilings and then plastered very neatly. They were kind, polite and managed not to swear even when they scraped of their skin!! I would recommend them.
