In my opinion this company was disorganised and unreliable and just did not care what they did with our belongings. I felt that the management borders on the dishonest. The initial "assessment" of the move was poor, a could not careless attitude. I found them unwilling to put right the problems they caused. The firm does not want to know after 7 days, you will need a magnifying glass to read their terms and conditions.

Response from Worthing Removals & Storage Company:
This customer should have been moving to Cambridge however once we had loaded the removal vans the customer told us that she had received a phone call from her solicitor saying there was a problem and that she wouldn’t be able to complete on that day. The customer asked us if we could take her goods into storage which we did and told her that she should phone us as soon as she could move to Cambridge. We explained that due to the storage there would be extra costs to pay of which the customer agreed to and gave us permission to take it from her credit card. When the customer phoned a few days later to say she was ready for her goods, unfortunately we were too busy and couldn’t do it until a couple of days later resulting in the customer being upset through no fault of ours. The customer had two vans full of her goods, so logistically it wasn’t something that could be done at short notice. The customer wrote to us two months after her move with her grievances but as we thought we had done nothing wrong and our terms clearly state that all grievances must be put in writing within 7 days, we told her there was nothing we could do for her hence her negative feedback.

P&H moved us a couple of weeks ago and I have to say a big thanks to them. Lenny and Shane worked like troopers on the day and took great care of everything and protected everything as they went. They had a very new lorry which had all the latest gear on it for removals showing that company invests in its business. They completed the move in the time allocated and didn't complain once but had a happy disposition all day and they didn't stop until the job was done. I would strongly recommend this firm to anyone moving house as they were brilliant.
