This job was 'phase three' of a remodelling job on my new home. The bathroom door was originally sited in completely the wrong place and far too close to the living room, so I contacted Tim to ask about moving the door. Re-siting the door wasn't quite so 'cut and dried' as it might sound because my bathroom is the size of a postage stamp and a very odd shape. However - Tim created what feels like a whole new bathroom for me. He helped me with choosing a new bathroom sink and loo, and understood when I said I wanted to keep the original shower as I liked it so much. He arranged for all the electrical and plumbing work to be done so that tradesmen arrived at the right time within the job. Tim suggested new over-head lighting and recommended the addition of an extractor fan/light combination, sited in the ceiling over the shower (which I now recommend to others because it's brilliant!). Re-plastering of the walls and ceilings followed, as did hanging the new door and the building the framework for it. He re-built the wall where the door had originally been and you would never know that there had been a door there in the first place now. Tim then added tongue and groove panelling to half of the walls so that it gave the bathroom a more vintage/cottagey feel to it. He very kindly hung wall fittings (mirror; bathroom cabinet; towel rail) - and finally, he boarded the floor in readiness for the fitters to come and lay vinyl flooring. I'm over-joyed with the resulting look. The finish is professional and so beautifully put together. There is nothing that Tim over-looked and it's this attention to detail which made so much difference to the finished look. All in all I'm thrilled to pieces. I would HIGHLY recommend Tim. This particular job was a part of a whole re-modelling of new home. Tim works miracles! He removed laminate flooring which had been firmly fixed to the whole of one wall (by a previous owner) in my new home , - which wasn't an easy job at all! He made good the wall – rebuilding part of it - and making it ready to decorate. Then came the removal of thickly patterned artex ceiling and re-plastering of same. Tim arranged for an electrician to re-site some electrical sockets and install some more over-head lighting, and he then went on to attach tongue and groove panelling (wainscotting) to turn what was a modern looking room, into a more cottage feeling room. Nothing fazed him what-so-ever, and the final result was far better than I could have imagined. His attention to detail is incredible, and he will not settle for anything less than an excellent job. I cannot praise this man highly enough, and recommend him for all aspects of work. If another tradesman/woman is needed to do something which Tim doesn't do himself (Gas or Electrical work), he oversees any work done by others and ensures that the finished result is as he expects it to be, and as you hope.

Tim is one of the nicest chaps you're ever likely to come across in this trade. He's conscientious and worked very hard with me to try and come up with the idea's I had for remodelling a kitchen which I'd inherited when I bought my new home. The kitchen was a total nightmare – and although I knew some of the things which I wanted in my 'new look' kitchen – there were other things which I had absolutely no clue what to do about. This is where Tim came into his own. He came up with ideas and thoughts which I took on-board and then 'tinkered' with a little and asked him if he could achieve. He did … every single time! He didn't even bat an eyelid when I suddenly came up with something which I'd completely forgotten about (a plate rack) until the re-modelling was almost finished. When the kitchen was finished – I was so over-joyed with how it looked I launched myself at him and hugged the heck out of him! I'm absolutely 100% thrilled to bits and pieces with what he's done. I'd employ him again in a heart beat. Brilliant chap and all round good egg!

Tim gave the job a lot of careful thought and preparation before he started work. He collected all the necessary materials, arrived on time, worked very cheerfully and was careful to protect the carpets from paint and dust. The final fee for the work was actually less than the quote as we decided that one piece of shelving was not needed. Tim's workmanship and attention to detail was very impressive and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Tim Greening is charming, timely, does not drink all of your tea and coffee, and more importantly has made a lovely job of re-decorating both our bathroom and sitting room and left the house clean and tidy afterwards. He made an exceptional job of re-hanging the bathroom door which originally opened into our small bathroom, and now opens outwards, he also cut the door into two halves and hinged it in the middle to form a bi-fold door. This has revolutionised our bathroom! He invoiced us after the job had been completed, and the cost was as per the estimate. We would certainly ask Tim to provide estimates again for further work.

Tim and the guys that worked with him were excellent. They over ran slightly in finishing and in cost but this was down to the weather and the fact that Tim wanted to make sure that the decking, ramps etc would stand up to a heavier electric wheelchair if it were required in the future. Tim looked into the regulations pertaining to wheelchair and was very conscious of ensuring that my safety as the wheelchair user was key whilst being mindful of my wishes for the finish to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible. It was possible to see that each person on sight knew what they were doing and they did it quickly and efficiently. If you asked for something extra, you only need to ask once. I will be contacting Tim for future work I have planned.

With guests coming for Christmas, we were concerned the painting wouldn't be done because we'd been held up by other tradesmen. Tim to the rescue! He rearranged some other work and arrived early in the morning. Working at double-quick speed, Tim completed the painting before anyone arrived, and to a very high standard. Very pleased with result.
