Yonico has done previous work for me so I asked them to come and refurbish my kitchen. I loved the design ideas they had and now have beautiful new kitchen with modern features and safety windows. It looks amazing and all my guests always ask for my builders name and number. The finish is perfect, with a level of workmanship and care you just don't get anymore and they always found a solution to the problems we came up against. What I also loved is they start early and finish late, no clocking off at 4:00, lots of tea and biscuits and they do a full days work.

Really impressed with the work, the company was easily contactable by email/phone and we were kept fully updated throughout. Due to weather/replacement items, an unplanned return to site was needed; Steve kept us updated and completed this as soon as possible. We were so impressed we also requested some additional work, which we were quoted for and was completed alongside the return visit. Would highly recommend, and would definitely use again.

Impeccable service from email response through site visit and quotation to actual works. Steve goes out of his way to achieve the highest standard of customer service. Although this job should have been very straightforward, discontinued products caused huge problems. Where as many would have given up and left no option but for a complete replacement, Steve pursued suppliers and was able achieve the partial replacement required and therefore a significant cost saving. Excellent work; very highly recommended.

From the initial quote until the final handshake, Steve Barrett was courteous, informative and helpful, providing advice far beyond what we have come to expect from other builders. For example, after the original quote was received, I emailed Steve with a list of questions about materials and mechanisms, and he wrote back a detailed reply, which not only demonstrated that he clearly knew his stuff, but also that he understood the importance of communicating with a client. Steve and his helper took out the massive old window units and replaced with new ones in a single day, and it was only the fact it got dark early that meant he had to come back the next day and add finishing touches. We were amazed that he managed to do a major piece of work with the absolute minimum of disruption, keeping the working area clean and tidy, and ensuring we were kept informed at every step of proceedings. There was one small glitch in the project: when the work was underway, we discovered the glazier had provided a back door pane with cat flap in entirely the wrong place (not Steve's fault; he'd sent over the right measurements). Nevertheless, Steve sorted it out with them on the spot, and came back to the house soon afterwards to replace the remade unit. It's that attention to customer service along with excellent time keeping, helpful communication and neat workmanship that mean we are happy to recommend Steve's work at Yonico, and will be using them again for our next project.

We decided to use Steve and his team because he built us cabinets and installed our kitchen. His work is meticulous and he always goes that extra mile for you, his team are friendly and a great bunch to have around. I had a house full of builders for nearly a year building the extension and Yonico stood out as the most professional of all and they are the only ones I have not had to call back due to problems with workmanship.
