Advice on how to fix broadband problem.
I emailed Bill about a problem with my broadband, which wouldn't connect for more than an hour or so from the extension socket before falling out, but which did work ok from the main BT socket - and yet the phones were unaffected. Expecting to wait for a day or two, I was pleasantly surprised to have a phone call from Bill after an hour or so, saying that he had (already!) sent me a reply to my email, which I hadn't yet seen, but he thought it would be better to explain what he was saying in person.  He thought it was something I could fix myself if I followed his instructions - which I duly did. And no visit meant no charge!  You couldn't ask for a more helpful, friendly and courteous approach.

Proving of fault and change the socket
I had the telephone problem that mystify the logic in that I can access the internet but cannot use the telephone to call out or receive the call (I have broadband that shares the same cable as the telephone).  BT said it was not the problem at their end. So after reading a good review of Bill Hussey, I decided to give Bill a call.  Bill is very helpful. He is trying to help to work out what the problem is and I can see that if the problem is trivial he will just tell me what to do and I can fix it from the free advice.  I am very much appreciated the approach that he does not think of just making the money and would willing to help over the phone if it is very simple to rectify it. However, after checking as he suggested, my telephone was still not working, so I call him out to fix it.  Bill is informative and after the test it proved that the socket had developed a fault and Bill just changed the socket for me. The charge is as on his website and very reasonable indeed.  I am very pleased. Bill is honest, helpful, efficient and has a good sense of humour and I would highly recommend Bill to anyone.

New telephone lines together with internet
Bill has worked with us over the last year, We have had a rather large extension and it has meant that Bill has had to come to our house many times so that during the demolishing of part of the old house and missing walls we were never without phone lines or the internet. He always manages to fit us in when we call him, always a smile on his face, only too happy to explain what he is doing, we are never left in a mess, and his prices are wonderful. Bill is always cheerful when he calls, very punctual and definitely reliable. His years of telecom experience means that he can help with a wide variety of problem - he has never failed us yet and we have put that to the test on several occasions! Fitting extensions to telephone lines
Bill arrived on time to give us his initial suggestions as we were moving our business from one room to another and had no idea of the best ways to move out telephone lines with us. He was very polite (extremely amusing) and simplified the whole business for us. This visit was free of charge. He then returned to do the actual work at a pre-destined time and date and although he was caught up in traffic he rang us to let us know he would be a little late. How many trades people do that these days! The work was carried out very professionally and the rooms left clean and tidy. I would recommend Bill to anyone needing this type of service.

I could not be more impressed with Bill Hussey's work.  He managed to sort out our internet and telephone problems where no one else was able to. Bill is very good at his business and a very professional person. He is able to solve the most complex problems and has improved my set up no end. I became desperate to resolve the problems with my connection because it is very important for my business. Internet services - new master socket installed
Bill is a very customer oriented supplier of services. He is friendly, very understanding of the problems that lay people have with telecoms and is able to discuss their problems in non technical language. The work that he did for us was completed when expected, was reasonably priced and was a great success.  On completion of the work the work area was left clean and tidy. One visit from Bill resulted in my Internet line speed increasing by a factor of 3 and the previously frequent line disconnects disappeared completely. An excellent tradesman.

Re: Faulty socket, faulty extension and slow Broadband speed
October 31st 2008 We've had some spooky goings on: phones ringing in the house even when calls redirected, phones ringing which couldn't be answered, downloads taking FOREVER to complete.  The line was tested but no fault was found. Who did we call? Bill Hussey. Within a few minutes of arriving with his antique doctor's bag, and he'd diagnosed a faulty socket and faulty extension installation and the spooks had flown.  The broadband' s now running at over 8000mb/s and the phones all work - for a fraction of the price of a BT engineer! We should have got him to look at the dead wiper motor on the car while he was here...

Sorted out our telephone wiring.
In a modern world where the increasing speed of technology and ignorance are running in parallel it is a joy to have one's problems solved by an honest and competent engineer.  After 5 months pestering our telephone company to provide the promised broadband connection we were advised by their engineer to pay for new dedicated telephone line to make it work in our house. However, fortunately we were told about Bill Hussey who kindly paid us a visit and within an hour had re-sorted our telephone wiring and has provided us with an excellent broadband signal.  He is amazing and we would recommend him to anyone.

Horrific broadband problem
Not only does he carry out the work in a professional manner but he gives you quality customer service. He quickly makes you feel secure in the knowledge that the problem will be resolved no matter how long it takes him. Rectified problems with Broadband and telephones.
Mr Hussey turned up 2 hours after I telephoned him. He was very punctual and polite and as well as fixing all the problems he gave me advice on telephones/ broadband services making recommendations on the best value for money products. I couldn't believe his value for the money he charged and if I could give him more than 10 out of 10 I would. Highly recommend to anyone looking for help in this area.

Bill is that rare person - someone who upholds old-fashioned values. This shows in his attitude to his job and the service he gives his customers. In addition, he's a lovely man with a wicked sense of humour and it's a pleasure to be in his company. He is honest and trustworthy. Fault finding of non working telephone system. Total repair and relocation of main telephone point
The service received was exemplary. Bill could not do enough to ensure the job done was done efficiently and quickly. He is extremely cheerful and ended up coming out a couple of times but was always willing to fit in when it was convenient to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to friends and family. He is a one off gentleman!

Rectified problem with phone line.
On the initial call I was quoted a price and given an estimated time of repair. I received a call when Mr Hussey was on route and additional problems were apparent on arrival but I was still charged the quoted price. Mr Hussey left the house as he found it. Would definately recommend.

Sorting out telecommunications lines to house and rectifying problems.
Bill goes beyond the call of duty. He is friendly, courteous, jolly and his workmanship is the best. He has really put himself out for a great number of people in this village and where other telecommunications companies have turned their back on us, Bill has soldiered on and managed to bring us into the 21st century with his skills. Bill is always there when you need him and I have recommended him to so many people I have lost count.
