This is the second time I've used James and Fraser, this time to replace ageing light-fittings and timer switches in the communal hallway of our flats. As before, they were punctual, pleasant and left the place very tidy. We're delighted to have our hallway lights working properly at last. Whilst undertaking the jobs required, James and Fraser were able to identify a serious fault with the electrics in our new house and provided a first class service, staying all day (on a Saturday) until the house was made safe. Finding the source of the problem required a great deal of patience and expertise and they completed the work very professionally. I could not recommend them highly enough and certainly would not use anyone else for my electrical work in the future. Rates very competitive. Thanks!

I will definitely be using the services of Bowden Electrical again. I had tried unsuccessfully to replace the bulbs myself as had a neighbour. Bowden Electrical fixed the problem and I now have 6 fully functional wall lights again. Yippee!

Having had another firm of electricians visit my property for the same job a few months ago - and having been let down both in terms of that firm identifying the faults and then failing to come back to carry out further investigation when they had promised - their ability to identify the faults quickly, efficiently and without fuss (they explained the faults and sorted them out with subjecting me to the melodrama and exaggeration that I have experienced with others) was a real breath of fresh air. They were very polite and friendly, and I felt I got good value for money. I will certainly call them again if I have any further need for an electrician and would definitely recommend them to others.

Their explanations of the problem and solution were clear, concise, and to-the-point, and pitched to the level of a reasonably well-educated home-owner (they had no way of knowing that I have a degree in electrical engineering). I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone in search of having electrical work done. James fitted a new fusebox, added one double socket and replaced an old one. I'm very happy with the work. While he was testing the installation James discovered a pre-existing fault with the lighting circuit which he returned to diagnose and fix. Despite this extra visit the entire job came in just under his initial quote, which was the lowest of four that I had. I'm happy to recommend him.

James is very professional and pleasant to deal with. The hob installation was very tricky as he had to enlarge the existing hole which had been cut in the stainless steel. He completed this to an excellent standard of finish. He has been quite willing to take on extra tasks we had not forewarned him of while on-site. He always arrives on time and his prices are competitive. Overall great performance and we have adopted him as the electrician to do all our future work.
