I am definitely a repeat customer of BZ Electrical! Having first used Bryan to replace a faulty kitchen socket and assist with mending my cooker, I have since asked him to carry out electrical inspections of two properties (once when selling, and the second after buying a new house), and subsequently he has replaced the consumer unit in the new property to meet current safety standards. I always find Bryan to be very friendly, courteous and reliable, and he always gives a first class service. I will continue to use BZ Electrical whenever I have a requirement for an electrician and very highly recommend him to others.

Bryan came round (at no charge) to repair the extractor fan previously fitted that had stopped working. This was only a day or two after being contacted. At the same time he replaced bedroom light switches with dimmer switches, despite only being asked to do this on the day. Very pleased with the service as usual.

Brian's a good guy. This is about the fourth time he's done work for us and that speaks for itself - we wouldn't consider having anyone else to do electrical work now. I was delighted by the fact that Bryan was able to respond promptly to my request at a very busy time of year. He arrived on time. Within 15 minutes Bryan diagnosed the problem, and the action necessary to provide a solution. The work was completed promptly and to a high standard. I found Bryan to be very courteous and thorough. He came originally to fix a broken socket I had in the kitchen and to give me a overview of the safety of the house's electrics as it's an old house. Bryan was quickly able to identify where the electrics were not to current standards (a couple of circuits not protected by RCD) and how much it would cost to remedy this. I instructed that he continue to do this work and having completed this within an hour he tested all the circuits then gave me a full briefing on how to test that the RCDs are working effectively. I now feel very confident that my electrics are as safe as they possibly can be. I would highly recommed Bryan to anyone seeking an electrician in Bristol.

I got Brian in to do some electrical work in my house renovation. We had accidentally drilled through a mains cable resulting in shorting of a circuit. I phone Bryan on the Tuesday and he agreed to come the next day. He did so, telephoning half an hour ahead of his arrival. Bryan rectified the problem speedily, cleanly and effectively in a very short space of time, keeping me informed of his actions at all times in a friendly and helpful way. I had fully expected a major upheaval - but the whole process was entirely pain-free. All paperwork for the Part P stuff supplied quickly etc. Found and sorted some problems and threw in a few extras as he had some time left over. When he came out to quote he also swapped out old fuse carriers for circuit breakers as a stop gap until the new unit went in. Completely trustworthy and a great service!

We needed our entire 1930's House rewired, and a new circuit board fitted. Bryan gave us various cost options, and was very helpful in suggesting ways of reducing cost, by us doing some of the preparatory work, even giving advice on how to carry out tasks. Re wiring is a very messy and disruptive job, but Bryan was very good at minimising both. He remained amazingly cheerful through out, and was a pleasure to deal with at all stages. The work was done around one year ago, and we have had no problems with the work, or any related failures. We have called him back in to do other work for us, and have recommended him to our friends. If only all tradesman could be like him, our refurbishment of our house would have been a lot less stressful

We are first time home buyers with no experience of electrical installations, we have a tight budget but obviously wanted to ensure our house was completely safe. We'd had other electricians visit our home but none of them made me feel confident that I could rely on them to deliver a quality job. Bryan was completely the opposite, He was totally genuine, really friendly, very accommodating, and more than happy to offer advice. He explained things to us without making us feel stupid! So that was our first impression of Bryan, and the exact reason why we asked him to come back and carry out the work for us. My Dad had experience of electrics and Bryan was happy for him to work alongside him doing the time consuming work such as lifting carpets/boards, pulling cables, and securing back boxes. This really helped us save some time and money. Bryan worked like a trooper and really impressed us all. During the work he discovered some serious issues which he rectified quickly, he even suggested various ways that we could improve the current layout, all of which were brilliant! By the end of the project we had a safe and highly improved setup which included a new attic light that we can turn on and off from the landing, stairway lighting, and a new mains powered smoke and carbon monoxide detector system that we can control from a central switch. We would recommend Bryan to anyone in need of electrical work, we were very impressed by his work and his professionalism, we simply can't fault him. People always advise that you get several quotes before getting someone in to do a job but from now on, if there's an electrical job that needs doing, we'll be contacting Bryan!

I called him out on a Saturday and he arrived promptly. We were locked out of The Big Issue office in Bristol because someone had installed the new magnetic lock wrong. After a quick assesment of the problem (the lock was all wired inside and couldn't be deactivated from that point) Bryan shimied up his ladder and got into the property through a top window. His quick action (and agility!) meant we were able to salvage a day of trade and our homeless vendors were able to earn an income. I will definitely think of using BZ in the future.

He actually went above and beyond what we felt he would do - the isolator switch was replaced, but he took time out to explain how to avoid future problems and how to extend the lifecycle of the shower. He also explained how to test the fuse box and electrical system and we would recommend him without hesitation.

Bryan came to be rescue when I managed to blow a fuse in my main fusebox. He came out at very short notice and spent a long time explaining what had happened and had to replace a light fixture, this included him drawing me pictures, which I felt went above and beyond his job. Bryan was very polite, knowlegdable. When you hear about rogue traders it's refreshing to have someone like Bryan about, he is a very worthy winner.
