We undertake all aspects of electrical work. From Fuse board changes, Rewires, Solar Panels (installing and testing), Smart Home (CBUS and Philips Pronto) systems including touch screen dimming, multi room sound, TV, Sockets, Switches, Light Fittings, Cookers, Periodic testing and inspection (for Landlords, home buyers and safety checks). Basically anything that has a cable excluding appliance repairs and servicing.

Fitting a new Fusebox

I was most surprised by the thoroughness of the quote where Chris explained the two types of fuse box and which would be best for my system. Other quotes were extremely brief and wanted to call to add to the quote no doubt. After settling on a date he arrived early, did a thorough job keeping me informed of what was happening and checked out all the electrical sockets before leaving a detailed report with future recommendations. Most electricians do the job and are in a rush to get away but Chris took his time with the emphasis on doing a good job. This is the second time I have used Checkatrade and have been impressed twice by the workmanship.

A number of electrical repairs such as the replacement of two dimmer switches and plug socket and ceiling pendant repair.

I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. He was punctual, efficient and courteous. His bill was exactly what he had quoted and he insisted on tidying up after the job. An excellent electrician who I would definitely use again.

Replaced four electric switches

Excellent. Quick response, clear pricing of work, kept me informed of work carried out and advised me in respect of an ongoing issue with the switch for my shower. Professional, tidy and all work completed to my complete satisfaction. Would recommend Chris to others and will use again if I have any further electrical problems.

Outdoor power supply and RCBO fitted

Replacement of storage heaters

Chris impressed me when he arrived to assess my requirements by putting protective covers on his shoes before entering my home. In my experience he has been the only tradesman to do that. He is very professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His quotation was emailed to me the same day. The work was carried out on the agreed date, to price, and Chris and his team arrived on time. They were all very nice, polite young men, who worked well together. The work was done to a high standard and they cleaned up any mess before they left. I would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise and have already recommended them to a neighbour.
