This is the first time I've had a chimney swept and I would thoroughly recommend Paul. When I called to book he was actually on holiday, but I left a message and he called me as soon as he was back. He was very helpful on the phone and he fitted me in at a time that was convenient for me, despite it being a bit later in the day. When he turned up (exactly on time) he had a look up the chimney to size up what was needed and he even knew by looking at the soot, what sort of fuel I burned. He was polite and a delight to chat to! He was a very clean worker and was done very quickly. The price he charged me was lower than the prices I'd found in my investigations online. I would thoroughly recommend Paul and I'll definitely be getting him to sweep my chimney again next year.

It was a delight to have Paul round to clean our chimney. Not only was he 100% professional, he was courteous, polite and friendly. I was very interested in what he was going to do as I have never seen someone sweep a chimney before and he explained everything well. He paid particular attention to cleanliness and made sure that any soot and debris was caught in his protective sheet, meaning that no mess whatsoever was left behind. I asked if he wanted to wash his hands afterwards and he had even brought his own towel with him to dry them on. Both my wife and I were at home at the time of his visit and over a cup of tea we had a great time talking to him about his travels and of course little boys being forced up the chimney in by-gone years! It was a pleasure to meet Paul, and since his visit we have had several happy clean-burning wood fires in the fireplace in our new country home. We would recommend Paul without delay such was the quality of his work, his clean working manner and his friendly attitude. Thanks Paul! Merry Christmas to you!

Paul had to return on a different date due to owner of house not being at home to allow work to be done. Date rearranged with no complaints. Did my job as an extra after long day. Our flue had not been swept for a number of years and 3 large bin bags of soot and tar removed. I cannot recommend this firm Clean Sweep highly enough.

Paul came to check and sweep a fireplace we had unearthed during renovation. He came at short notice and did a wonderful job. He explained how the chimney system worked and what we would need to get a fire going in there. I must say that you often think that getting a chimney swept would be a job that would leave a lot of mess - the room was immaculate when he had finished. I would certainly recommend him.
