Firm got price incorrect, wrong VAT offered. 3 blinds found to be too wide after fitter had departed. No written quotation. Firm tried to obtain payment before invoice had been posted.

This is a previous customer of ours and is therefore aware of our high level of service. Unfortunately due to a new member of staff, we initially fell short of our usual service which resulted in an error being made with the price and the blinds not being quite correct in size.
However, within half an hour of being made aware there was a problem with the blinds we had someone on site to try and rectify the problem. This was not possible and so the next day we returned, collected the blinds, rectified the problem and then took the blinds back the following day. Within 48 hours from being aware of the problem we had rectified the problem and the customer was completely happy.
With regard to payment, the blinds were installed on 20th June and we did not request payment until 28th June to ensure everything was satisfactory. For customers who pay by credit card, it is our normal policy that we request payment before we send the Invoice so that we can attach the customer’s copy of the credit card receipt.
