The work was carried out as detailed in the quote and took 2 days in total. There was a slight leak in the system that Mr Coutts sorted promptly. The operation of the new boiler was explained and I received prompt notification from the manufacturer of receipt of the commissioning papers and guarantee from Mr Coutts.

Rupert fitted me in on the same morning of the call-out after my regular engineer said he couldn't come for 4 days! Very impressed with his work. He stripped down and repaired the motor when most engineers would have given up and just replaced the whole unit. Rupert has gained a new customer as I will certainly use Fired Oil for all future maintenance on this boiler.

This was a complex job; disabling the Aga that provided the hot water, fitting a new oil combi boiler for heating and water, replacing radiator valves throughout the house, fitting a new radiator and servicing the Aga. Rupert did a very thorough job which included removal and disposal of the old boiler, tanks and pipework. When there was a problem with the water filter on the new boiler he took full responsibility dealing with the manufacturers and fitting a different type of filter at no cost to myself. Good to deal with friendly and experienced. I would certainly recommend him.
